Nine Lives

This flick was victimized by timid distribution and lazy critics. They didn't know how to market it so they didn't preview it for the critics who instinctively wrote it off when they finally saw it. This is a great family film inasmuch that it's smart and doesn't talk down to kids and adults can appreciate it for its cheeky humor. I watched it with my wife and we don't have kids but we both loved it. In a nutshell it plays like a cross between "Look Who's Talking" and "Groundhog Day". Kevin Spacey provides terrific droll voiceover but it's Christopher Walken who nearly steals the show as the sly cat whisperer. Walken didn't have enough screen time for my liking but in his sparse appearances the screen wattage goes up immeasurably. This film is one of the more pleasant surprises from a Summer that didn't provide many prize offerings.

love this movie. its a feel good movie and it made me laugh. which is very very difficult to do.

The wife really enjoyed the movie. If you like cats and animals in general, you'll probably enjoy the humor in this flick. It's a rather low-key plot line with morality-tail (pun intended) storyline and character development. While I'm not a cat or animal fanatic, but do have a soft spot for all those critters, I also found it enjoyable. It's a nice family-time movie.

I was surprised to watch this movie because the story wasn't what I thought it would be from what I saw of the previews. But overall, I didn't mind the "moral" of the story. And enjoyed watching Christopher Walkin in a totally different movie role. The cat was fantastic & funny.

If you love cat's and know what they do and how they relate to things, will enjoy this movie, I laughed so hard and it was so funny. I loved this movie and have watched it now 8 times. EXCELLENT!!!

Really a nice enjoyable movie, good for kids and a lot of beautiful cats. Watch the extras at the end of the movie where they make the film, it's very interesting. Excellent cast too.

The place to redeem the digital copy is out of business and does not give me the digital code that was offered. At the price that is unacceptable. Frustrating when you make a purchase because of the digital code and then not able to redeem it.

I watch this movie with Amazon video and then later just purchased the movie.I had a whole bunch of movies that were stolen and had to start over. I find this to be the funniest movie in my collection. Although my collection is rather small now it's a good movie and I'm happy to have bought it through Amazon. Thank you Amazon.com !

This is a very cute movie. Great to watch with any age group. I watched it with my granddaughters and enjoyed it thoroughly. The DVD was in perfect condition. It arrived very quickly. We were very pleased with the acting, especially the cat's. So did my two cats, I think they enjoyed it more than us. It's good to enjoy on an evening with friends or alone, with some popcorn.

This is a very funny movie. Lots of laughs. Enjoy! It has a crazy plot but a good lesson is learned.
