For the first time in my life I was able to saw through a piece of wood with ease. My first experience with a pull saw, and it was very good. Both the edges of the cut were smooth unlike normal saws and it required very little effort to cut. Very happy with the product.

This was my first time using a Japanese pull saw. However, the skill and muscle memory associated with using a Western push saw lends itself naturally to succeeding off the bat with this pull saw.This 5-inch Ryoba made short work of my sheesham wood study table. The quality of the cut was astonishing. In fact, I managed to saw off the legs of the hard wood table within minutes.But most surprisingly, the precision and consistency of the cuts allowed the table to sit true without the need for any shimming. I'll be buying the Dozuki saw as well to transition completely to Japanese pull saws.

Very sharp and cuts wood like it's foam. Ideal for detailed wood work.

With the very first use, the blade got bent. It takes time forever to cut even a 2 inches thick wooden log. I should have used it soon after buying it so that I could have returned it immediately. Discovered a hard way that Japan also makes useless things :)Anyways, incase you decide to buy this, make sure you have a very valid reason for buying this instead of a motorized cutting machine.After buying this, use it immediately and ensure you are happy with this thing or else return within the return window.I won't recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this after having failed to master traditional Indian hand saws and given up on them. I saw some great reviews about Japanese saws on some YouTube woodworking channels and wanted to give this a try. Amazing! I should've gotten these sooner. The cuts are smooth and the finish is great with minimal tear out. A must-have if you are serious about woodworking and hand tools. Actually, buy one of these even if you normally use power tools. There are some cuts that just need a hand saw!

It was what I had hoped for. It was a stocking stuffer that got tested before Christmas! Sharp, firm blade and grippy handle.

I use this in my yard to cut small woody overgrowth, limbs etc from easy to reach heights. It works great, easy to hold and super sharp, cuts right through limbs, small trees, vines, etc. Very Light weight and maneuverable- use this before i have to pull out the gas powered pole saws, chain saws, hedge trimmers. Love it and always wanted one. Do not regret purchasing and probably will purchase more in the near future -maybe as gifts as well. I cannot say for sure how long it holds up, but I hope it last a long time. Very convenient to use and prefer these over hand held clippers, pruners, loppers...

Es una herramienta delicada por la hoja tan delgada, debes de usarla adecuadamente y guardarla en un lugar donde la proteja para no dañarla. Pienso o comprar otra y un tamaño mayor
