The scent as you pull it through your hair is nice - not perfumy or "50s grandmother" - and as you add heat to it when blow-drying, the scent changes to something more soft and subtle and very nice. It doesn't linger so that you are bothered by it all day. Winner. Now, the next morning, after going out last night and then sleeping on it, it still looks amazing. I just pulled a brush through it and it fell exactly as before, and is still silky, smooth, and shiny. I can't say enough good things about this product. I'm going to combine it with my root lifter and another styling product and see how it does when I use my heated wand to create those beachy waves.
