CocoCare Cococare 100% Cocoa Butter Stick Pack of 1

The Cococare 100% Cocoa Butter Stick is as described. Years ago I would use cocoa butter to tan with and to help fade stretchmarks after giving birth. This is exactly what I remembered, pure cocoa butter but in stick form. It's a bit hard so takes a moment for it to penetrate into the skin, but once it does it's perfect.

Ok -- like don't take it's first impression at face value, nor listen to the reviewers who complain it's dry & crumbly without testing it yourself. It will most definitely surprise you! I'll admit, when it first arrived, I was super unimpressed. I had never heard of the brand, but I liked the idea of it being in a stick that you could use to glide it on instead of the lotion form that I was used to. But when it got here, after managing to pry open the cap -- which honestly is no easy feat -- I was downright disappointed. It was an oddly dry stick that did not fully fill the tube & had a weird scent that I could not place. It wasn't what I'd call chalky looking, but it had no look of moisture to it. It doesn't cling to the sides, & I too envisioned it crumbling with pressure. Like a brick of parmesan. So I ignored it. For a while. I don't know what prompted me to take it out, but I gave it a go & haven't looked back. Like, I had to swipe it across my arm a few times to get it warmed up, but that is the key. It's almost like an actual stick of butter in that way. The heat from your skin warms it up, & then it just glides on. You don't even need to do it that much -- too much & you'll feel like you DID put butter on. It becomes very smooth & rich & moisturizing; rub it too long & you've got a glossy buttery sheen. The smell? Amazing! It literally smells like chocolate. For some reason that scent doesn't seem to appear until warm on the skin, but it's awesome. Strong, lasting & reminds me exactly of a hershey kiss. The tube construction is a bit weird since it's just loose in there. If you tip it over, yes, it WILL fall out... but it's not a big deal. Not as if it’s difficult to not tip it over. Those complaining just need something to whine about. It IS more challenging when u get to the end of the stick; it just pops out. But then I just used my hand & then popped it back in when I was done. And also -- I don't get the complaint about the stick in general. Like, does no one eat push-pops anymore? The stick DOES come out; you just need to push up at the bottom to get it up -- the bottom moves. It's like a push-pop. Def try before giving up on this product. It's great!!

Using on a scar from recent surgery and it has really helped soften & helped it not pull, so it has worked perfectly for what I ordered and expected from it. Would recommend this product.

Oh, I love this stuff! I don't have stretch marks or anything like that, but it's great for preventing ingrown hairs from shaving. Nice, non-oily feel. Not like lotion, just much better. I don't feel greasy, or oily, like with some moisturizing lotions.

First the good news - it smells like coco butter, fast shipping and came with an expiration date. The bad news is like most of the reviews concerning the tube. I was hoping to part my hair and push up as I needed to apply to my scalp. Bad flaky dry scalp, and I wanted to try something more natural to lubricate without harsh chemicals. The container should be made smaller, or the tube of butter should be larger. It reminds me of the fat chalk we used in elementary school. I had to use it while holding the butter in my hand to apply to my scalp. Then rub on the excess from my fingers. Before I washed my hands I applied the excess to my elbows and legs. Once it started to melt it was hard to control, slippery. The product itself is good thus far, no mold seen as yet. I gave four stars for the quality because it did melt on my skin perhaps because of body temperature, or a good stick. It is lightweight and not sticky on my hands. Being a senior, I think the product would be good for aging skin, but the packaging is terrible. I have arthritis in my hands and trying to apply the product while holding the outside of the tub gets messy. The tube gets slippery and hard to keep together. The price wasn't too bad considering. The next time I use it on my scalp I think I will cut off slices and let it melt between my fingers and then apply. Of course, if I find a better option I will switch brands. Something much easier to use. With so many complaints about a bad batch, I will be looking around just the same. I like the way it feels on my skin like the back of my hand. Hopefully I am getting enough on my scalp. Change the packaging if you want to get good customer feedback.

Pure coco butter, really good. Smells devine

I have used this product for years and it is better than any expensive face or skin creams. Use it daily after showering and washing my face. I love it!!!

I find that this product is hard to get. I love it and especially because it says its 100%.
