I was looking for a small but, strong mount of my phone. These are great not only are they small they have a very stong magnetic grip. It well worth the price no unnecessary moving parts or problems.

This concept is great. It works perfectly and it is a great way to have a phone mount that is minimally invasive. The magnet is strong and keeps your phone in place. Note that this their site says it will work with an iPad. It does, but I tried it and it's probably not the best use case - it works yes, but it is too heavy to hold the iPad in position. The ball's adhesive is very strong and so is the magnet. You can stick you phone to anything metal. I ended up buying one for every car I have and every device my wife and I have. Just try it, it's well made. If you can get it under $30 its worth every penny.

This replaced another ball in another vehicle so it worked very well.

So I love this mount system as the portion that attaches to your device is small and shallow. But this piece that goes on the dashboard (if you so choose) doesn’t stick the best to shiny surfaces. I have some thicker 3M outdoor double sided tape I will try since the factory installed tape is pretty thin. Hopefully that works. As a suggestion, when sticking this to a surface, do it while surface is not cold and when pushing it onto the surface, press with force and put pressure on a circle pattern to help it adhere well. The other one I have on another surface has held on a vertical surface ( f450 bucket truck- bouncy ride) for about a year and my iPhone 11 max pro has never fallen off!

I forgot when i bought my other one but could swear the base was smaller. The base is a bit wide, and maybe it needs to be but i was hoping it was a bit smaller than my existing one. There aren't many spots where i could mount this too and sure enough on of my cars, i ended up not installing this because it didn't fit anywhere on the radio bezel. It does not stick to the dashboard, i think because the surface is porous / not smooth. I ended up using it on the same vehicle that i already had one of these, but placed it in a better location. Def better than the vent mounts. Those end up scratching the area around the vent and i had a set of vents fall apart by pressing hard to engage the spring clip. I like the idea, but which the balls came in smaller size. The magnet size also provides a little hole and i use it to hold the phone for some grip, so it's a win / win for me.

Love steelies. When I drove truck this is what I used to hold my phone... still only use these. The ball goes on the dash, a head board, or anywhere you want to put your phone. A magnet also goes on the back of the phone case. Have to have both.
