5 years later this is still my dog’s favorite toy. Yes, we have to replace it a couple times a year because the top seams split apart-usually because I didn’t supervise well. For everyone criticizing the design, it’s a safety feature. Better the split top than having your dog’s tongue suction and get stuck in the small hole. I have a herding breed and she can empty this thing in about 20 minutes, but she’s exhausted when she’s done. My golden retriever can’t even figure out how to use it, so I’d say it definitely takes a certain level of drive and intelligence.

Love it and more importantly, so does our boxer! Keeps her entertained and active for quite awhile and is a great way to add in extra activity on cold days. Not too easy, or too hard. Adjustable feature works well. Only complaint is the material, which is super hard, makes it hard for our dog to pick up and seems like it might cause long term wear on wooden stairs.

It took my dog a minute to figure out which is great. However, the material makes a lot of noise on wooden floors (not great for japan apartments) and the material is not durable. My dog broke it on day three and pieces of the plastic shattered.. meaning not safe, either. Thumbs down for a great concept.

I hate that I had to buy a second because one of my bunnies is a ball hog and won't let the other bunny play.
