I'm an 80 year old woman. I'm not as strong as a young man, but I can manage most things. I replaced the screen in a large double window because my cat had shredded the screen and made an escape route. There was enough screening material to fit both sides of the window. Maybe because of the thickness of the screen and the thicker spline, I found it difficult to get the spline into the groove. Not impossible, and I did manage, but it took a while, about an hour to do each side. I had to push all along the sides with a tool (a screwdriver would work) several times to make sure it was all the way in. But now it's done and is hanging in place. I've read that, because of the heavy screen, it would appear noticeably darker in the room. I can't say that I've experienced that. It isn't invisible but it's like any good quality screen, particularly one from decades ago. A 16 pound cat was sitting on the screen as I was installing it so I wasn't sure it was as taut as I'd like. I let one side sit overnight and then tightened it, and it's far smoother. People have mentioned the creases. I could see them but they were less pronounced the second day. But once I had the screen in place, the creases disappeared and it looks terrific. It's been in place now for about 6 weeks. My ginormous cat has clawed it, jumped on it, climbed it, and hung from it day after day with no damage at all to the screen. I did leave a half inch edge rather than cutting close to the spline because I didn't want the screen to pull away with a large cat hanging on it. I would definitely buy this again and again. The only caution is the effort it took to install due to the sturdiness of the fabric.

This stuff is amazing!!! I have a lot of outdoor feral cats that like to use my screen as a scratching post. I replaced my old screen with this one and not one blemish. I've seen a couple of the cats go to town on the screen and expected something to stretch...nothing. Most of the cats have talons for nails and shredded my other screen. It's super tough and thick. I'm going to replace all my other screens. My inside cat likes to play with the remnants. I was able to do a whole slider plus two small windows.

Pros: 1. Seems like it will work well and will be sturdy but too early to know for sure. Cons: I have more cons listed than pros. Not deal breakers for me but they are things I think people would want to know. 1. You definitely do see lines of the screen from where it was folded in the package. How noticeable depends on the angle and the light but I'm sure some people would find it detracts from the look. 2. You'll probably need to get new spline that is a size smaller than you used before because of the increased thickness of this screen. I tried using the original size and it was a major effort to get it into the groove. Stopped after one side and switched to a smaller size. A lot easier to install but still held tight. 3. The thicker screen material means it reduces visibility looking out (but that also means a little more privacy for people looking in). 4. The thicker screen material means it doesn't let in quite as much light. Not a big difference though.

This works great!! I haven’t had any issues with my 4 cats and this screen. I used it to replace the screen in my sliding door as well as several windows. I like it so much I came back to order more to do more windows in my house!!

This mesh has creases because it came folded. You can wait for them to dissappear by themselves or using a hot gun or an iron with a piece of cloth over it and carefully iron it. After installation there was a crease part in the center, but I'll just wait to fade by itself. It is sturdier than I thought. Holes 1/32" × 1/32" Not sure if it was expensive or not because is the first time I bought one. The size 30' x 100' is not bad I have extr just in case. Easy to use and install.

We recreated our patio into a “catio” and took a chance that this netting would be strong enough. It is HEAVY DUTY! Our cats have tested it, we’ve had squirrels climb up and down on it, and not a tear or the slightest widening of the mesh at all. It’s exactly what we were looking for. The hole size will keep out most insects (some tiny gnats got through). Yes, it comes folded and you will probably will want to use a blow dryer to get the folds out, but this is not even close to a deal breaker because this stuff is so awesome. Highly recommended!

Primero compré uno para probar su resistencia y es muy buena pues a pesar de que se cuelgan bastante los gatos quedan unas marcas muy ligeras, casi imperceptibles. Si son de color negro pero a mi parecer no obscurecen la vista ni de afuera hacia adentro y viceversa. Posteriormente compré 3 más y ahora todos los mosquiteros expuestos a los gatos son de este producto. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

With floor to ceiling doors it is hard to find a product that doesn't required you to purchase six or more meters leaving you with plenty of wastage or needing to store it for three plus years. Great quality product, easy to and looks great installed.
