Hanes Women's Period Underwear Pack, 3-Pack, Comfort, Period. Moderate Leaks Period Panties, Odor Protection

This product arrived as described. Panties are 100% cotton. Effective light absorption in the lining. Not for heavy leakage. They have saved me from embarrassment due to light bladder leakage on many occasions. This underwear is comfortable yet effective, and even thin enough to carry a spare in my purse. A soiled pair can be easily roll up, placed into a sealed plastic bag and cleanly, odor freely, and discreetly take home to be wash and used again and again. I would definitely recommend these for women with light bladder leakage, and/or for younger and/or more mature women to use on light menstrual cycle days, or as a back up for those heavier leakage days. I’m thankful for the confidence and freedom they afford me so I can continue living and enjoying a more active life.

They are more comfortable and thinner than a pad. They have a similar capacity to an overnight pad. They work great if you are planning to double up with a tampon or cup during the day. Otherwise, I would consider packing an extra for a full day out (unless it is a light day.) If you are staying home, these are definitely a good option. You can sleep in them, but it may or may not work out. If you do plan to sleep in them, wedgy them in the back because the protection doesn't go all the way back. (Or only sleep in them on light days. I did sleep in them on heavy days without suffering leaks, but I also woke up right as they were about to leak.) The seam in the back is obnoxious, but you do get used to it. They are far more comfortable in my opinion than a pad - even with the back seam. Cleaning is easy: Rinse after use until water comes out clear, then wash in the machine and dry on low (no fabric softener.)

comfortable lightweight. purchased when doing chemo and had some issues , they were fabulous and worked better than a disposable and were washable !

I ordered these for my mom who will be 90 this year, yet refuses to use any kind of disposable undergarment for occasional bladder leakage. She has told me several times how much she appreciates them and how she couldn't live without them. She thinks these types of underwear are the greatest thing invented in the last 50 years! 😆

I love these underwear. However, the waistband falls apart. Its February and I bought them at the end of October. That's not long enough for me.

While there is indeed a heavy seam across the butt area, it doesn’t really bother me. I bought these after I saw advertisements for period underwear all over the internet. The major difference is, the product they are advertising is like $30 for one pair of underwear! I bought these because they are advertised as period underwear (I wear them without pads or tampons) and are much more cheaper than those ones I see in the advertisements. Another thing is you may want to order one size up, as they are slightly snug, but they still fit. I wear them so I don’t have to wear pads or tampons anymore. These don’t smell at all, they are absorbent, and I am glad I bought them. Hope this review helps!

These are a hard pass or I guess,better than nothing? They are ultra high waisted,goes under your breasts. Whilst they appear to be good,they barely have any coverage except over your stomach area! The absorption area basically only covers your “openings”, nothing more. The front one doesn’t cover your whole female area and the back doesn’t even cover the crack of your derrière.The seams are thick and uncomfortable and very visible under clothing. I would have to say that the only nice part about these are the colors . I’ve attached a photo of the gray Hanes pair on the bottom and a different brand on the top. The different brand has full coverage from front to back,the Hanes definitely does not. The photo is of the back part of the panties.

Great quality...very comfortable fit. Full brief size. Can wash and dry in machine...I am comfortable wearing these.

These have to be the most uncomfortable underwear I have ever worn. There is a heavy seam right across the bum area and my bottom actually became very tender and painful.

Firstly, it wasn't indicated clear enough in a listing title that these were period underwear (one have that in a detail description though). Secondly, beware, it's an American sizing! I bought 8 for my daughter and they turned out to be XL!
