This foot file works extremely well for removing thick, dry skin from the bottoms of my feet. It reminds me of the type of tool used during a pedicure, and it is one of the best tools I have found for the tougher areas that regular foot files do not handle as well. What I like: • Very effective on thick dead skin on the bottoms of the feet • Works better than softer or less aggressive foot files • Strong and durably made • Helpful for rough heels and tougher areas along the bottom and sides of the feet • Holds up well with regular use • I have purchased more than one over the years because it works so well • Works especially well after a shower or after soaking my feet Things to be aware of: • This is very sharp and needs to be used carefully • I have accidentally nicked myself when I was not paying close enough attention • I only use it on the bottoms of my feet and slightly up the sides where the skin is tougher • I would not use this on the tops of the feet or anywhere else on the body • I get the best results after showering or soaking my feet, then toweling them dry before using it • When the dead skin is loosened up first, it removes much more in one sitting • It can get dull over time, but you may not notice until you use a new one • This is more of a serious foot care tool than a gentle everyday file Overall: This is an excellent foot file if you need something strong enough for thick, rough skin, especially after a shower or foot soak. It works because it is sharp, so I recommend using it carefully on the bottoms of the feet only.

Buy immediately!! I have always bought the cheaper ones from Walmart/ dollar store. This one isn’t even more expensive essentially, but the quality is outstanding! Sharp, cuts right through callus. I feel like a new woman.

This foot file is by far the absolute best for removing calluses and really dry skin!! It's at least as good as the one they use at the salon and even better than others! It's very sturdy and works quickly. I have tried so many different things over the years and have finally found my miracle. I use this, it doesn't take much, then I put a special foot cream on and then socks and go to bed. I wake up with baby soft skin. Love this!!!

Yes! This was an A+ product. Perfect sharpness and angle. Previously, I had something similar, but it had a curved or an oval surface. I’m sure the product creator had some sort of ergonomic idea in mind, but it didn’t work for me. I thought I’d have to be careful and learn to use it because it is a sharp instrument. However, it was apparent how it worked immediately. Within five minutes, I had smooth heels and all rough spots removed from my feet. I keep this in my bedside table and use it every three or four nights before my foot ever gets rough. It’s almost like a miracle for me.

Ummm who would have thought. My husband has the worst feet! Have to file those puppies down weekly or risk needing stitches if his heel touches you. Had multiple files wear out in the past. Those prior files would snag a crack and cause a tender or raw spot. This file was a GAME CHANGER. I wish I had taken before and afters. Filed once a day for 4 days. Feet went from a hot mess of calluses to very smooth with just a couple minimal cracks left. And biggest flex no raw or tender spots. I have noticed in this shot time the file seems to have lost some of it's sharpness. But to be fair I don't think it was desgned for the mess it got itself into here. As for the razor we didn't really get that figured out yet. It gums up fast. I would 1000x buy this file again. Probably will be a yearly Christmas gift in our house.

4 stars because it does the job it’s intended to do. This file is very, very sharp. Almost too sharp to recommend, and in my opinion, should be reserved for careful use only for the thickest and hardest callouses. This is much more course than a microplane style and will leave the skin rough and needing a finer file or pumice to smooth after, and can easily leave skin sensitive or even bleeding, if not used with caution. I think I’ll stick to a finer microplane style and make a few more swipes.

The only thing faster than this thing is my dog trying to eat the foot dust off the floor. This things works VERY well. I shaved off every crust and crumble, every day I wore sandals and no lotion, every time I ignored my pumice in the shower. It was incredible. Just a couple swipes and I could see the real me peeking through the drought stricken dead skin cracks. If your heals resemble hooves this product is for you. My heels are smooth, it only took a bit of elbow grease, and BAM normal heels. So easy and worth every penny.

Ausprobiert habe ich schon allerhand manuell und auch batteriebetrieben für meine Hornhaut. Das, was bislang noch am besten funktioniert hat, gibt es aber nicht mehr. Auch damit bedeutete das immer Fußbad, mindestens 2 x raspeln, Vorarbeit an einer besonders hatnäckigen Stelle mit der Hautschere. Danach war die Hornhaut zwar halbwegs weg, aber der Fuß nicht glatt und mindestens 45 min Zeit verbraucht. Diese Feile wende ich trocken an, z.B. wenn ich eh duschen will vorher und nach nicht mal 5 min (inkl 2er blöder Stellen, die eigentlich tiefer liegen) ist alles streichelzart, glatt und so super von Hornhaut befreit wie noch nie. Selbst wenn es schnell stumpf werden sollte, dann Kauf ich mir 1x im Jahr eine Neue, das wäre es mir wert. Von der Größe nicht abschrecken lassen. Durch die gewölbte Oberfläche kommt man wirklich an jede Stelle des Fußes, auch die Vertiefung zwischen dem Ballen des großen Zehs und den anderen. In der Regel mag ich den Begriff des Gamechangers nicht, weil es übertrieben ist, aber hier tatsächlich angebracht. Will ich zu Weihnachten an die Familie verschenken.

Ich bin mit diesem Hornhautentferner wirklich sehr zufrieden! Für mich ist er ein praktischer Helfer bei der Fußpflege, der vor allem durch seine unkomplizierte Handhabung überzeugt. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass sich das Gerät sehr gut verwenden lässt. Gerade bei der regelmäßigen Fußpflege möchte man ein Produkt haben, das einfach zu handhaben ist und bei dem man nicht erst lange herumprobieren muss. Ein ganz großer Pluspunkt ist für mich die Reinigung. Der Hornhautentferner lässt sich problemlos sauber machen und auch sehr gut desinfizieren. Gerade bei einem Produkt, das direkt mit der Haut in Kontakt kommt, lege ich großen Wert auf Hygiene. Ich finde es wichtig, dass man ein solches Pflegegerät nach der Benutzung gründlich reinigen kann, ohne dass die Pflege und Reinigung des Geräts selbst umständlich werden. Das funktioniert hier wirklich gut. Auch die Möglichkeit, die Fußpflege bequem zu Hause durchzuführen, gefällt mir. Dabei sollte man natürlich vorsichtig vorgehen und nicht zu viel Hornhaut auf einmal entfernen. Mein Fazit: Ein richtig guter Hornhautentferner, der mich vor allem durch seine einfache Anwendung und die unkomplizierte, hygienische Reinigung überzeugt hat. Besonders die Möglichkeit, ihn problemlos zu desinfizieren, ist für mich ein großer Vorteil. Ich bin rundum zufrieden, würde ihn wieder kaufen und vergebe 5 verdiente Sterne!

This foot file is huge and looks like it will chew your feet up. I was pleasantly surprised that despite making easy work of my thick, hard heels and calluses it gave a pretty smooth finish. My feet have felt awful with painful hard skin that wouldn't be shift with my old foot file. My heels were sorted in minutes!!!! I soaked my feet in the bath for 20 mins before drying and gave them a thorough grating. Finished off with my new glass foot file to smooth everything out and rubbed in some heels balm. Feet feel like a baby. Amazing

Fantastic at hard skin removal best I've ever used, but be careful and use with light pressure as can take too much skin off! great value for money, sturdy, large handle so easier to use very pleased with my purchase.
