Surf City Garage 492 Killer Chrome Perfect Polish - 8 oz.

I've used 5 or 6 different chrome/aluminum polishes over the ~65 years I've been driving/maintaining my cars. Some are good and easy, some are more difficult and slightly better. BUT - this polish produces the shiniest chrome I've ever obtained. I just finished doing front and rear bumpers on a '74 BMW 3.0CS, which was restored over 30 years ago. The bumpers on this car were replaced with new (or excellent used) bumpers from an earlier model ('74's had ugly NHTSA 5 mph bumpers), so at minimum, these are 30 years old. Application and removal was VERY easy, and I am delighted with the results. I will next use it on the aluminum trip pieces to see how well they look.

This stuff works GREAT!!! Leaves a mirror like finish! Super easy to use, its a liquid not a thick paste/wax like mothers ...making it way easier and much quicker to use! I apply this to my chrome bumper, door handles, mirror covers, front bull bar, literally everything chrome on my truck! The possibilities are endless and the results are fantastic! It easily wipes away surface rust that starts to show up over time leaving the chrome part looking like new again! The product goes a LONG way so the smaller bottle will last you forever! Highly recommended, you wont regret your purchase!

I was initially disappointed when I first received this item. Before I even got a chance to use it I noticed that the product had leaked all over the bag came in. It was a mess. Not off to a good start. There is not a separate seal under the cap so it got all over everywhere. I guess it’s a good thing the bag It came in was inside a box. After I started using it though, I was very happy with the results. It’s like anything else, you get out what you put in. If you have a lot of surface oxidation it’s going to take some elbow grease to get it out. Having said that, I was very surprised at how much rust it did remove and how shiny my chrome came out. I tested it on the bottom of a 26-year-old motorcycle brake pedal that I don’t think has ever been cleaned (I am not the original owner, I am doing a frame up restoration). As you can see in the before and after pictures, It looks a lot cleaner and shinier than it was and all but the toughest rust came out. I think I could’ve gotten even more rust out but I had to give up because I had other things to do (my wife was yelling something about dinner). I would recommend this product for polishing chrome. But they really need to work on their packaging (that’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars).

Exceptional product. Performs exactly as stated in the reviews and awarded statements written on the label. Literally very little rubbing required, simply pour an amount on a cloth and wipe away years of surface discoloration. My product was applied to a HD Springer that was sitting in a shop for the past fifteeen years. After wiping the chrome surface with the product the surface chrome was glistening and shiny as it should be.

I have not used it enough to really tell but seems to work great, so I think it will be a part of my business.

This product brought a beautiful brilliant shine back to my chrome on my 66 Chevy Nova SS. Excellent product!

Received the product yesterday and was extremely happy how it cleaned up oxidation and polished engine on my Vrod. Motorcycle looks like brand new now- no single dark spots on engine nor wheels and nice polished aluminum look. I’m glad someone pointed out this product on one of FB pages- great value for the money. Highly recommend!

Great Polish, horrible rust remover. I bought this to get the winter rust off my motorcycle's chrome. I think that water would have done about the samefor removing the rust. It did polish the HELL out of my chrome that had no rust but the rust removal was all elbow grease.

Used it to shine up my rims on my truck. A lot of elbow grease but came up really nice.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht das es wirklich so gut ist. Ich habe den Endschalldämpfer meiner Rocket3 mit einem anderen Produkt behandelt weil dort feine Kratzer drauf waren und ich diese raus polieren wollte. Den Rest wie Auspuff- & Krümmerverkleidungen welche augenscheinlich keine Kratzer hatten habe ich mit Killer Chrome bearbeitet.Das Chrom sah nach der Bearbeitung mit dem Konkurrenzprodukt S100 aus wie neu. Ich dachte eine Steigerung sei nicht möglich.Da hatte ich mich geirrt.Die Teile die ich mit Killer Chrome bearbeitet hatte sahen besser aus wie neu. Sie haben regelrecht gestrahlt. Unglaublich. Außerdem hat das Zeug auch eine sehr gute Reinigungswirkung. Hat alle Verunreinigungen (eingebrannte Pflanzensäfte, Teer, Dreck) schnell beseitigt. Das Mittel ist aber nicht abrasiv, will heißen Kratzer kann man damit auch nicht entfernen. Die sieht man danach nämlich auch sehr stark glänzen. Wer also sein Chrom damit behandeln möchte und keine Kratzer wegpolieren muss, für den gibt es nichts besseres. Außerdem kann man es so oft anwenden wie man will ohne angst haben zu müssen die dünne Chromschicht weg zu polieren.

This works great. Easily one of the best products out there.
