Flexible Light for Work Area
I have a scroll saw that did not have a light. This led to problems while cutting and trying to see the patterns I was sawing out. The LED Magnetic Work light was the perfect solution. It casts plenty of light for me to see the working area. It is also easy to move and place where is works best while staying out of the way. PROS & CONS + Small, light and easy to place + Bright + Well built + Sturdy - Cord too short as mentioned by others - Magnet a bit weak but not a big issue This light is a good value for the price. I expect to get good use out of it for a number of purposes.

Itโs perfect
This light is perfect for my application. Very small, very bright, sturdy gooseneck and strong magnet. As others have noted, the cord is very short, but this problem is obviously very easy to solve, and everything else about the product is completely and exactly perfect for my purposes, so I still give it five stars.

Not Unhappy About This Lamp For The Cost
So far it appears a good little lamp. The magnet is powerful - so far. The light is good and the flex neck is decent, holds still in every position. Been on about an 1/2 hour now and it's warm but not hot at all. Not bad quality and at the cost of 15 bucks is say as it goes for a small lamp it's a decent quality for the cost deal. If you buy a less expensive tiny lamp you may match this ones quality possibly but it may be less than durable and quality to the feeling and duty it will serve . ๐๐ป (?)

It works for my purposes and it very bright with a very, very strong magnet
I believe it is serving the purpose I wanted. Which is to spotlight a new sculpture. Because it has an regular on/off switch I can probably plug it into a timer of some kind automating when it turns on and off. I will say that its magnet is quite strong and while they suggest it not be mounted horizontally, I have tried that orientation. It seems to be holding quite securely. As a matter of fact I'd suggest its one flaw it that magnet is very strong and when I first tried removing it from its magnetic perch the magnet base separated from the rest of the module exposing the internal wiring - probably not a really good outcome. And the magnet took some force to release it from the metal it stuck to. But it clicked back together and I've subsequently made sure to grab it at the base to remove it. As you can see in the images, it is attached horizontally at the moment. It is quite bright. Being able to dim the light might be nice but those lights generally will not remember their settings if you turn it off. I quickly tried a dimmer plug and as expected, the light kind of strobes or flickers.

Cheap solution to light up shop tools.
I wanted something to light up the work areas of my band saw and drill press and these little guys did the trick. The magnet is strong enough to hold it in place so long as the gooseneck isn't extended straight out. The switch could be a little bigger and easier to hit, and trying to just hit it without grasping the base will make it fall down. But it's really not too bad.

Not built to last long at all
This was great, nice and bright. I used it four times since purchasing, all without moving it. Turned it on today and a minute later it went dark. Tried a different outlet, nothing. Cord is not strained or pinched. Also, the wall-wart power supply is hardwired to the unit, so cannot try another one of correct voltage and polarity. It's a paperweight now in the bin.

Works well for me
People say the magnet is not strong enough. How strong are they looking for?!? I am mounting it on a lathe with a cast iron body, so maybe this is optimal for the magnets, but it works great for me. Yes, the cord is a little short, but extension cords are cheap. This allows me to light the interior of pieces I am cutting on the lathe, and I use it all the time. Very nice.

Handy light to have, not a big honking clunker
Handy light to have, not a big honking clunker. The light is bright, has a strong attaching magnet and the goose neck holds position even when the saw is running and the light is mounted horizontally. Would be nice if the cord was a little longer but it works.

Very strong magnetic
Small but works well on my lathe. The magnet is very strong and light is stable. I would recommend this. Would be nice if it was a little bigger though.

Good light
I like the light. Nice and bright, strong magnet, adjusts easily without the magnet letting go. I can leave the switch ON and the light comes ON when I switch ON the main power bar. The power cord could have been longer so I will need to find a new spot for my power bar. Longer goose-neck would have been a plus. Recently installed so lifetime to be seen.

Excellent
Lover this. Solid unit - flex arm stays put when you place it. no fatique in materials as yet. Use it above a vice to provide extra light for detail work. Will prob grab another to place on small lathe.

Good for smaller equipment
Bought this for my band saw, but found the neck a bit weak and had a hard time keeping the light on my work from the vibration in the saw. I took it off and put it on my smaller band saw and it's been holding up great. I would not recommend for larger woodworking machines though.
