A 1-1/4” PVC pipe has an OD of 1.6” and the sleeve has an ID of 1.6 “ so it fits perfectly over the pipe. It works that way with all the sizes - the PVC’s OD is ALWAYS the same as the sleeves ID. PVC pipe is sold based on it’s ID and it’s OD is always more. Fittings, connectors and sleeves are always sold by the size pipe they are meant to fit (typically slid over) so will have a larger ID than the pipes announced size. Ex: 1-1/2” PVC is 1-1/2” ID but 1.9” OD. You would need to buy a 1-1/2” rubber sleeve (with an ID of 1.9) to fit over the PVC tube! Don’t complicate it any more than the manufacturers already have! Pipe is sold by their ID and fittings are sold by the pipe size that they fit. **Q: inside diameter of 4-inch?** A: The inside diameter is like 4.3 made to fit a 4 inch pipe ## Frequently Bought Together - Supply Giant 6I46 Flexible PVC Coupling With Stainless Steel Clamps, 1.9" Inner diameter for 1-1/2" Nominal Pipe, Black - Wayne Pumps 66005-Wyn Check Valve, PVC - Wayne 58321-WYN3 CDU980E 3/4 HP Submersible Cast Iron and Stainless Steel Sump Pump with Integrated Vertical Float Switch, Large, Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/358889687-supply-giant-6i46-flexible-pvc-coupling-with-stainless-steel-clamps](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/358889687-supply-giant-6i46-flexible-pvc-coupling-with-stainless-steel-clamps) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
