Excellent product, hole size is correct.

Did the job. Great fit for 14 and 16 gauge wire. Crimped nicely and wire is secure. Insulation doesn't break off when crimped like some cheaper disconnects. Used for speakers. The opening might be a little wider than the tab you're connecting it to, which might make a lose fit if you just connect it straight out of the bad, but all it takes is a quick squeeze on the ends with a pair of pliers to shrink that gap and make a tight fit with the mating side. Do this before attaching it to the male side though, so it maintains that clamping force when installed. I think this is typical with these types of connectors and never bothered me to have to do this. YMMV. But they work great. Connections are tight and secure.

Works like a charm

Super impressed! I took the plastic piece (cover) off and threaded on wire then inserted and crimped the metal. I used needle nose pliers and crimped one side first then the other over the first. Used 15 (to attach diodes to 2019 Honda taillights to dingy tow) and every one crimped without breaking and not one slipped post crimping. Plastic cover easily slid back over the crimped metal. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
