Great food
I rely on reviews (real ones) to help me decide what products to purchase so I wanted to do one for these pellets. About six weeks ago, I adopted a Myers parrot. He has a really rough start to life and was on a really cheap, all seed diet when the rescue took him in. They started the transition to pellets and it was very slow going. When I brought him home, he reverted back to seeds. I was offering both pellets and seeds, same as the rescue. Perhaps it was the stress of a new home, cage, etc., but he wouldn’t touch a pellet. I’ve tried a few different ones and he wouldn’t touch any of them. He would eat his nutriberries, which is great. Enter the Zu Preem Nutblend. I received the product yesterday and immediately put a scoop in one of his bowls. As soon as he climbed onto the side of the bowl, he picked up the light colored pellet and started munching. He at four of them! The size and shape of the pellet resembles a peanut, which he used to eat. I am beyond thrilled! Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would take to these right away. If you have a picky eater, gives these a whirl.

Goldilocks food - great for everyone.
Parrot nutrition is a very complex topic. Almost everyone agrees that a good pellet should be part of a parrot's diet. And Zupreem is the brand that I've seen recommended most. I have a Goffin's Cockatoo and an Eclectus, and wanted to be able to give them both the same pellets. My Cockatoo will accept and eat several brands, but when I got my Eclectus she started wing flipping when fed a colored pellet. I had read that Eclectus are very sensitive to pellets and especially artificial colors. But she would not touch the Zupreem Naturals. And she LOVES peanuts. So I decided to give the NutBlend a try. And it's a hit! Both birds eat them very well and the wing flipping completely ceased. They both prefer the smaller paler pellets, and their least favorite are the large darker banana shaped ones. I don't know why. As far as I know they are the same flavor and nutrition. So sometimes they will toss those out, but if you have a bird I don't think you'll be surprised by that. I don't believe that the pellets should be 100% of the diet, but should comprise around half of it and be supplemented by a variety of veggies, fruits, grains, and other healthy bird foods.

Check the size of the pieces before buying.
I usually buy the Zupreem Natural. It wasn't available and so I bought this. The pieces are very BIG... I have an African Grey who prefers to hold his pellets and nibble, so I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. It was a deal... I change his dish every day and put the left overs out for the wild birds. The blue jays didn't like them either and so they were eventually eaten at night by the racoons who had a little trouble chomping them down.

I got a great deal. I bought 12.
I’ve been feeding my bird Zupreme for a long time. I got it on sale for 9+ dollars. Very cool that I got to stock up.

Super picky african grey likes it
I have a 22 year old African grey parrot that WILL NOT eat anything other than his pellet food. I have tried fruits, veges, nuts, crackers, and so on. This is the brand he likes so I thought I would try this (since I have never seen it before). Didn't have ANY hope, since I have wasted countless monies trying new products for him. To my pleasant surprise, he liked it. I was floored...this bird seriously DOES NOT eat new things (and throws tantrums when he is unhappy). He's happy, I'm happier. I, or should I say my bird, would recommend. Zupreem is a great brand.

More nutrients than birdseed
When I took in a rescue macaw, I had to switch from backyard birdseed to a nutritious pellet. She made this switch very easily. She gets crazy if I give her any treat pellets with color added… cranky, loses feathers, just a hot mess. But this is very acceptable to her system snd has been on it for the past 5 years. Sometimes it’s extremely difficult to find in my local pet stores so I added it to my regular shipments from Amazon. I know I’m going to need it regularly. Why drive all over town trying to find it when I can have it delivered to my door.

Mikey likes it!
Been trying to switch a VERY stubborn VERY spoiled 22 year old Congo African Grey to a pellet diet for the past year and a half. I've wasted soooo much money on every brand of pellets under the sun (starting with the most expensive ones, of course >.>) just to have them spit out and tossed on the floor in disgust. I was starting to believe that he would actually starve himself to death rather than eat pellets. :( I had never seen the nut flavor ZuPreem before it showed up in my Amazon recommendations, so I figured I'd give it a try, not expecting any different results. Well we received a fresh bag and to my absolute shock the little brat actually grabbed one of the big dark pieces right out of my hand and started munching away! I've been mixing them in with what's left of the last brand we tried (which are being ignored) and he's been picking the Zupreem pieces out and eating them every day for a week now. I'm so happy to have finally found a pellet that he seems to like!

Mi loro gris africano estaba feliz con la comida, usualmente le damos Zupreem natural. La marca es excelente el olor y color son buenos para loros que no les gustan los colores vivos. Estaria super bien que el costo se mantuviera para poder comprarla mas seguido.
