The Tamarind I can't live without
I have been using Tamicon Tamarind Concentrate for years, and I absolutely love it! I have tried a couple of other brands, but wound up tossing them in the garbage as they were so inferior to Tamicon. I was surprised to read that some people refrigerate this product. I store it on a shelf with all my other spices, and it has never deteriorated in the least. It is already very thick and syrupy; I can't imagine how difficult it would be to use if it was cold!
