The blower was easier to install than I expected. The directions didn't really address the fireplace version that I have, but the blower set-up was simple enough that I didn't need the directions. I didn't use the double-sided adhesive pads that were supplied in the kit. They would essentially glue the blower in place and make it unserviceable in the future. I just switched over the magnetic mounts from the old blower to the new one.

I was so very pleased with the way the blower was packaged. Also, the wiring was already completed and all I had to do was plug it in and replace the fireplace grate.Blower is quiet for the size and seem to plow very well. I'm very please with the purchase.

Looked like it would be a easy swap with my old fan. Motor was a bit bigger and mounted on other side so it would fit into the space allocated on my Regency stove. Needed to pull it apart and swap motors with the old fan which taught me how to access the bushings to grease them in the future. I like the knob to adjust the speed, but mounting required drilling through metal since the existing controls were switches. Would have been nice to get new rubber bushings for mounting bolts instead of foam tape, but I suppose I can cut them to size and drill a hole for the same purpose. Overall it works, just took some tooling. The selling point should be all the fun you have on your work bench for only 60 bucks!

Worked well in my fireplace, easy to install and fairly quiet for a fan

We use it a lot but it didn't last the entire season. The last one lasted two seasons. I'm going to pull both of them apart and try to make one good one with a better bearing.

Fits perfect runs real quite

Installation: as it was very similar to the unit I replaced. The fan is more powerful which leads to Central for more vibration. Make sure you spend the time to mount it properly. I have it operating at a lower to mid power level. Anything above that and it is excessively loud

Easy to install. A little loud on high but can run on low after room warms. Have used it this fall and very pleased. Just to make sure there were not rattles… hubby used ALL the Two sided tape to secure. Wonderful !!! The company purchased from packaged it very securely. Our TWO other attempts from different company … came damaged. Thank you !!
