This was very helpful when my dog had her pups. I had to take her to the emergency very and they figured out she was low on calcium. She was shaking and panting about a week after having babies. We started her on this and never had any other issues. We couldn't find this in any stores and the stuff we did find in the store was full of toxic ingredients that I would never feed my dogs. We are ordering 1 more can to get her through the next 2 weeks of nursing. After that, the pups will be eating enough puppy mash to take most of the stress off the dam.

Although it could have helped her everytime I would put it in peanut butter or mix it with her fav food she would rather not eat her food at all.
