Great for organizing
Great product perfect fits the batteries and holds them very securely. Seems like quality plastic that isn't prone to snapping.

Perfect AA battery storage
I have been using rechargeable batteries for most of my AA and AAA devices.I have had to throw away several flashlights and holiday decorative devices due to Alkaline battery leakage. This is my fault for not checking the devices more often, but sometimes I just forget.I have never had a rechargeable battery cause any damage- so going that way. This reviewed battery holder is the best one I have had. Batteries store well and easy to remove when needed. I use Amazon or Envelope batteries which I date with a magic marker. The battery caddy is easy to store and see when a fresh battery is needed. I store charged batteries with + down (normal way they fit) and put the dead/weak battery with the - down. I then know which batteries need recharging.Really like this caddy and have both one in AAA and a second AA.

Technologically Superior, yet Pricey
I just received these yesterday and moved my batteries out of the plastic clam shell containers to the Storacell packs. The plastic feels more like Nylon in that it's a denser, tougher, smoother feeling and not at all cheap feeling. The pack is made from thick material and is manufactured with exceptional tolerance. The exceptional tolerance allows the batteries to slide in smoothly, yet positively with a click. There is no rattle or loose feeling to the packs. The design is incredibly smooth and efficient in the the batteries I have take up less space than with the traditional snap to shut, plastic clam shell cases, and are much easier to load and unload. The only hit against this product is that it is pricey. If you can afford it, though, it is definitely worth the money. This product is decades ahead of the clam shell holders.

Almost perfect battery organizer
I got tired of having loose batteries floating around in our junk drawer and searched Amazon for a solution. I love Amazon because they carry just about everything, and the few times when I've had a problem, they have always resolved it to my satisfaction. The box type organizers seem like a good idea, but they occupy a lot of space, don't hold enough AA's, or hold too many of the sizes I don't need. Some include a battery tester, though its accuracy is questionable. I don't think I need a battery tester if I can keep track of new versus used. Besides, I already own a volt meter and can use it if needed. Then I found these. They are more expensive, and so I was hesitant to buy them. I searched for a suitable alternative and couldn't find anything that would meet my needs as well as these. I ordered these and have been very pleased with my decision.I bought as many of each type as I needed, and now all my batteries are protected and easy to access. The batteries are locked into the holder and won't fall out, but are still easily removed. Batteries can be inserted in either direction, making it easy to keep track of the ones that have been used but are still good, or in the case of rechargeables, tracking charged vs discharged. They come in several different colors, which you can use to indicate something like battery chemistry. It would be nice if holders of the same size could be assembled, rather than being separate. That would make this the perfect battery organizer, in my opinion.

Love these things!
Keeps the batteries from rolling around a ‘junk’ drawer. I can keep the batteries organized and easier to access. We have these storacells in all different sizes and colors.

The skinny
I bought these to store my rechargeables in, of which I have a pretty good collection of mostly Eneloops, Duracell and Energizer cells. All of them fit fine in the caddy and of the powerpax holders, I prefer the retention clip on this model over the other powerpax models which use a different style clip to keep the battery from sliding out of the holder. The reason I say this is because I find the other clip style has a tendency to snag and drag over a batteries outer jacket of the film that has the printing on it and it can eventually rip or tear that film, something that I find distasteful. These clips do drag over the cell too, but not as aggressively. The clip style on this holder is a little easier on the film wrapper with the manufacturer graphic on it and it retains the battery in the holder as well as the other models. The fact that you can store the cells facing in either direction in the caddy is helpful in keeping charged cells easily identified from discharged cells if you face them in opposing directions. My only real gripe with the design is the number of cells it holds. Consumer batteries are sold most in quantities of 4 or 8 and I personally prefer to buy packs of 8. This holder holds 12 cells so its kind of odd for me, if I buy an 8 pack of cells I'm short 4 cells to fill it or if I buy two 8 packs, I have 4 cells left over with no place to store them.I really think an improvement to this holder would be if it held 16 cells. It reminds me similar to how may hotdogs come in a pack as compared to how many hotdog buns come in a pack, a slightly disproportionate ratio to how the consumer purchases products. My only other gripe is the price. These are very expensive in terms of what you are getting and I suspect they are priced according to what the market will bare as opposed to the manufacturing and distribution costs. That's unfortunate as I would be inclined to purchase many more of them if they were priced more reasonably, but I just don't see the value nor can I justify the cost compared to other storage alternatives. These do come in few colors, but to each their own and after reflecting on the color choices, I really don't have a specific preference, but of the two cases I have (one orange, one yellow), I do like the orange slightly more. After all, they are just battery holders for storage and it really comes down to personal preference. If not for the cell count and cost I would have given them 5 stars, but 4 stars seem a very reasonable and fair rating for this product.
