Review: Smooth coverage and great finish for small projects - I picked up this Krylon COLORmaxx acrylic latex paint for a few small projects around the house, and it performed really well. The paint goes on smoothly and has good coverage, so you don’t need a lot of coats to get a solid finish. The consistency is nice and easy to work with, whether you're using a brush or a small roller. It spreads evenly and levels out well, which helps avoid visible brush marks. The finish also looks clean and consistent once it dries. Another thing I appreciated is that the paint dries fairly quickly, so you can apply additional coats without waiting too long. The color looks rich and holds up well after drying, which is great for trim, furniture touch-ups, or small indoor projects. Pros: • Smooth and even coverage • Dries relatively quickly • Good color consistency • Easy to apply with brush or roller Cons: • May require two coats for darker surfaces • Best suited for smaller projects rather than large areas Overall, this is a reliable paint for DIY projects, touch-ups, and small home improvements. If you need a good quality paint that’s easy to work with and provides a nice finish, this one does the job well. The cans are all different prices depending on the color you get. Some cans are more expensive than others, for instance the Dover White is over $16 but it's still only one can. I don't know why the prices vary so greatly. **Q: Can i use this spray paint on my sons cranial helmet?** A: you can use it if you prep helmet first sand n prime always remember two to three light coats is better than one heavy coat ,sand it 120 grit smooth then apply coats til coverage is desired **Q: Can this be used for spraying painted rocks to seal them for leaving outside?** A: If referring to the clear then I can absolutely say it works quite well but it takes more coats than Aleenes clear does, to get the same longevity. I noticed that the reds family fade faster under the Krylon clear in comparison to Aleenes and the Rust-Oleum lacquer. I do always keep at least 1 can of this on hand because it truly is a very versatile clear for all of my outside art projects. Worked well when I used acrylic to paint silver alloy charms for a sun catcher when I couldn't find the charms I wanted in the right color as well! ## Frequently Bought Together - Krylon K05570007 COLORmaxx Spray Paint and Primer for Indoor/Outdoor Use, Satin Meringue Yellow, 12 Ounce (Pack of 1) - Rust-Oleum 249063 Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint, 12 oz, Satin Sweet Pea - Krylon Fusion All-In-One Adhesive Spray Paint for Indoor/Outdoor Use, 12 oz, Sea Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/358383793-krylon-k05570007-colormaxx-spray-paint-aerosol-meringue](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/358383793-krylon-k05570007-colormaxx-spray-paint-aerosol-meringue) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
