The only negative thing about these are that they are a bit sharp on the bottom and scratched up on a few edges.Other than that, wow! For the amount and such color they are defiantly with every penny! They are a perfect size, not too small and perfect for a child's hand. The colors are evenly sent. I got 6 of each color, 12 diamonds, and 24 gold nuggets.Can be used as Sonic chaos emeralds, pirate treasure, princess jewel collection, etc!Edit...I honestly had to repurchase these again due to being such a hit with the kids!!! And I raised the stars from 4 to 5. Yes they are a but chipped on a few and maybe pointy for little hands but when you think about it it's not something that'll deter the kids. Rather they enjoyed collecting the colors and the vibrant translucent colors are eye grabbing and so much fun.They are good size for hands, adult and child alike. I bought these to conduct treasure hunts in our sandbox. They are so pretty and fun. Be forewarned: they are pointy and they land point-up, so my 4-year-old and toddlers have stepped on them to their distress. Older kids would fare better, or else using them in sand where there's some give in the ground and not in the lawn as my kids started doing. Another not-so-obvious point: I also used them as diving toys in the pool. What could be more magical than finding 72 gems on the bottom of a sparkly pool? Again, though, they land point-up, and so they were NOT a hit in the toddler splash pool. In the in-ground pool, no one seemed to step on them hard enough to cause discomfort. Alas, we are worried that the points will damage the pool liner, though it hasn't happened yet. These gems are great and very versatile. I personally use these for a reward system... heard from a friend who is a teacher and has used these in the class room, so I implemented this at home with our four year old. Whenever he does ANYTHING positive and helpful or goes through a transition well, he goes and puts a gem in his gem jar. It’s a very positive way to affirm good behavior and he enjoys choosing a colorful gem. When he fills up his jar, he picks a small prize. Can also work for older kids, you just adjust the prize at the end. Our four year old was so proud when he filled up his first jar!

Nice size, bright color, safe nontoxic acrylic material. They're a little sharp and I was worried about them being left in the grass and people stepping on them, but they were the hit of our treasure hunt party. The kids snatched them up, took them home, and I never got any complaints from parents.

We got these to replace the tokens in our Splendor board game, and they are BEAUTIFUL for this purpose! Only complaint is that there isn't an even distribution of each color, so we had to substitute a couple to get by until we can get another set. But the sizing is just right for us - just over an inch or so wide, so they are easy to grab!

These are exactly what I wanted, and the size the description specified. They are larger than most items for sale, and I wanted something extra large. They are bright colored and nicely shaped. I also feel like I got a good assortment of colors. The gold nuggets are a great addition.

Love these! I wanted them to put in a clear vase with some LED lights and they are perfect for the idea. They arrived quickly and were packed into two thick plastic bags that were inside another bag. The bonus "gold" nuggets were neat, maybe I'll find another craft to use them in.

I choose this specific gem set from all the other choices based on all the positive reviews, but I have to say I am disappointed with them. I ordered them as a fun addition to Birthday goodie bags for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party, and when I opened them to start adding to the goodie bags I see that many are chipped which reveals a white color and not the gem color. Those edges which are chipped (which almost every gem is chipped) are very sharp and could easily cut a child. They are also very dirty, which makes the gems appear cloudy. If I am going to use these, I need to find time to try file each little gem and also wash them (in hopes they won’t cut someone and hopefully will look clear and not cloudy); but I am not sure if I will have time to do all that before they are needed. Disappointed for sure!
