Good product
Good price. Arrived on time. Good read of instructions. Once you have done the preparation the application to the windows is very easy. Make sure you use a soft squeegee, Mr lazy (me) didn't on the 1st window and scratched the surface, start again. Makes a big difference to privacy and excessive sunshine.

IT HAS A BACKING FILM _ REMOVE BEFORE APPLICATION
Blessed relief. I was being cooked slowly, and a one sided suntan is never a good look. I put this on my window which gets the sun between 1-5pm and it really works. I didnt realise it had a backing film so tried to cut and apply with it on and couldnt understand why it didnt work - doh. Once I reread the instructions and tried again it was a doddle. Definately agree about spray window with water from 30cm away to get an even thin coverage. I used a book edge to smooth out and it worked fine. Lets light in, but at a level that is more suitable for when you are sitting next to the window.

Good, but not brilliant
I have a low window in my home office and the sun streams through in a morning. I thought that adding this film to the top 1/3rd of the window would help reduce the glare and brightness without me having to shut the curtains all the time. It does help in taking off some of the glare, but it's still too bright for me. Will see if I can double up the film, otherwise I'll have to buy darker film elsewhere :(

Amazing changes my life
Absolutely amazing stuff - little bit tricky to get in place especially where I have some huge windows could have done with another set of hands cos when a crease appears can be difficult to get rid of. Definitely need to just put loads of water on the window so it’s easier to manipulate the film. Omg though I was skeptical this would have any effect as my house is in constant sunshine in the summer from 11am until the sun sets and my upstairs bedrooms get way over 30+ degrees even with the windows and blackout curtains closed. This stuff is awesome it has kept my upstairs rooms so cool in comparison tops they have been is 23’C and I can cope with that. If you put your hand on the window/film they are roasting but the heat doesn’t radiate out from the window. I did test it by leaving one bedroom without the film on for a week and there was a good +10-15’C difference in the temperature of the rooms - I’m so happy I found this stuff and bought it. When it’s super hot I have had to spray a bit of water in the corners to restick it where’s it’s lifted a bit - but other than than no issues. I’ve even told 5 colleagues at work about it as they don’t like the heat either and die working from home with no air con. I told them last year I had the fans on constantly this year not turned one on so far not even at night when usually I have one running 24/7 just to get a few hours sleep so that’s saving me money with the rising cost of gas/electricity presently. Happy Days!!

Wasted money, wasted time
After a week of trying every single day to get this to stay up on my windows I think I’m finally ready to admit that this doesn’t work as described. Is it reflective? Yes. Does it dim light? Yes. But does it do one of the most basic requirements and STAY UP on the window? No. Every single day (sometimes multiple times a day) I’ve had to grab a spray bottle and drench the window and attempt to put it back up after it completely falls down. I tried with warm soapy water, regular water, I even tried taping the edges down after getting it to stick because after 3 days the edges wouldn’t stay down. Each time the sticker would peel away and bubble until after 12 hours it completely falls down. This was a waste of my money, time and effort and I’m immensely disappointed. I can’t see this ever happening in an office building when these are applied, the product is flawed.

This has made such a difference!
I’d seen these films for a while but was dubious about how well they would stick, work and last. My flat is south facing and gets a lot of heat and light, but summers are unbearable in the lounge with a double patio door. This blocks out about 50% of the light during the day (takes some getting used to), but was easy to install with water and a squeegee. The roll minimised creases during the application, and the length and width is perfect for the patio doors I’ve covered. It looks great and keeps the flat cooler now too! In the photo (left is outside no filter, right is the patio door with the film on in the same shot for comparison)

Its okay product.
Well it creases before you even put on, can’t avoid that because otherwise you would never remove the film. Also there are some random cut mark trough the film one of the rolls, when looked at it from reflective side looks like stitch mark between batches. Make sure you have some adequate squeegee, otherwise you will leave scratch marks if you do like i did with plastic bank card.

Not as advertised
This static cling mirror window stuff does NOT block the neighbors view at night! It is a major pain to get it on without wrinkles. When you have wrinkles it looks awful inside and out. You can not see out at all clearly. It did not cling to the window very well either. All around this product is not worth the purchase!

See through at night, keep your clothes on.
I tried this window blackout cling, and I’m really impressed! It was super easy to apply—just peel and stick—and it immediately blocked out all the light. This has made such a difference in my sleep quality, especially during the day. Plus, it doesn’t leave any residue when removed, which is a big plus. If you're looking for an affordable and effective way to darken a room, I highly recommend this product! I've had it on my window for couple years now and still going strong. I don't recommend standing naked infront of said window with lights on at night, everyone will see. BUT during the day, it's perfect.

Will buy again. Excellent window film!
We purchased a little old cottage to fix up for when we are retired. It needs a lot of work. Using the front entry for supply storage, it is messy and embarrassing. Here you can see, even right close up, you can't see through it. It's not as reflective close up as the photo appears. It's just black, like the distant photo shows. They were nice enough to send a mirror sample! I was wondering if I should have bought the mirror or the black. We did not buy the mirror because we thought it might be a visual safety hazard for people walking/driving by. It's not but imo is not as attractive as the black. However, the black does darken the room substantially more than the silver. It is incredibly easy to put up. I gave myself lots of time. My spray bottle has a bit of dettol in it but that doesn't seem to affect adherence. I learned quickly it can be too dry but cannot be too wet. I ended up spraying the window AND the sticky side of the film. Wetting both quite well allowed me to slide it around a bit and the bubbles slid out far more easily. I could also pull it off and place it on again more easily. It's not dry yet so I don't yet know how easily it will be removed after that but I'm not anticipating great difficulty. I don't see wanting to remove it any time soon. We have yet to see how cooling it is, as this small room is like a sauna during some portions of the day. There is decent visibility from inside but the silver has better in-to-out visibility. Still I can see out quite well while a person outside would not see me at all. I'm very pleased with the privacy aspect of this film!!! (The most important aspect for us.)

Bluffant

Keeps house cooler.
Keeps house cooler. Be careful peeling off adhesive film to avoid pock marks.
