Smartwrap, winner of ID magazine's Design Distinction award, is a cord manager for headphone cables. No more fussing with too much cable hanging between your music player and your earphones - just wind up the slack and lock it in. Smartwrap is easy to use. All that is required is to snap the cord into place at one of two places, then wrap and snap into place again. Clear, White and Black

Wow. I was skeptical, but these are great!
I listen to audiobooks and carry my MP3 player with me everywhere. I used to wrap my cord around my player, but it would often tangle and knot if I didn't carefully unwind the cord. With the Sumajin Smartwraps,. all my problems are gone. I put off using a cord management device for years, because of their size and the absurdity of the idea of using one. I was so wrong. The device is actually about the same size as my MP3 player, but I can leave enough slack so that it folds to rest beside it. I wear dress shirts, and usually carry my MP3 player in my front pocket when I listen. The device allowed me to shorten the cord. You can carefully (and tightly) wrap the first half of your ear-bud cord if you never need the full length. It's easy to slide the cord in and out of the notches, so you can easily change the length wrapped around it.The shape is perfect to keep the cord from sliding off the ends. And the size is also perfect. (Any smaller, and you'd overlapping the cord too much when you wrap. Any bigger, and it would be cumbersome). The concavity is perfect for a 6ft pair of ear buds.I'll post some pictures. The 3-pack I picked up is great. It's an excellent way to compactly store your earbuds to keep them from tangling. I highly recommend these... and I wish that I hadn't waited so long.

Works great.
As other reviewers have stated: this looks superficially like the kind of thing you could make yourself, given a craft knife and some rubber. But actually the design is extremely effective and interesting, if subtle. The cord manager is rounded and tapered in such a way that, once clipped in at both ends, the headphone cord tends to stay tightly wrapped regardless of how the cord moves around in your pocket.3 cord managers are included in a package, but it works so well that I just ordered a second set of 3 so that I can use them to organize the rest of the USB cables and other cords that float around in my laptop bag. Also fwiw, the silicone construction and lack of moving/fragile parts makes it seem like this product will last a lifetime. Will be interested to see how it looks after a year or two of use, but seems very durable and it's hard to see how anything other than intentional abuse could damage it...

Love it!
This is my idea of a perfect little device. The bone-shape is ergonomically perfect - it fits right in your hand, it holds the cord on snug, the little holes at either end hold the ends of your earphone cords, and the streamlined straight shape means you can unravel it in a perfect hurry - just tug at the cord and it spools out in a second or two. It's just thick enough to be stiff, but thin enough to be flexible (which helps you manage the cord). Plus it's just a very appealing shape. It makes it a happy task to wind and unwind your cord, unlike a lot of other cord managers that are a bit of a finger fumble. You get three per pack. Why anyone needs three I don't know. I do, but that's a special case. The price is a little high and if you don't get shipping that makes it worse, but they last forever and they're really useful so I won't complain. It's well worth whatever you pay for this.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do
I like these. They held the new Mengo Bumps in-Ear earphones. This is much nicer than throwing them in my pocket or purse only to have to take 10 minutes to untangle them. It is a bendable plastic and seems to grip the cord well on either end. My sons use theirs daily, I use mine weekly. It did take a bit to figure out how to wrap the volume controller that is on the earphone, but it was easy once it was figured out.

Perfect for storing earbuds
I had bought a similar product from Wal-mart (except shaped more like a 3-dimensional hourglass) and discovered to my horror that it was crushing the cables of my favorite earbud headphones because the slots were too tight. Every time I slid the cables in they would get pinched and crushed. So I quit using it and with some trepidation bought this product. Well, this one is made just right. I can slide the cables into the slots and they don't get crushed at all, since the slots are loose enough. So I would highly recommend this product.

Works great and are soft and flexible
These do the trick in that they are soft and flexible so they don't feel like they would break nor jab you if you kept them in your pocket. They are small so you will do a lot of wrapping of the cord, and then the cord tends to take on a waviness after a while but they don't necessarily tangle. A 3-pack is a good deal as it's likely that most people have multiple ear buds or can at least share these.

BEST DESIGN I'VE FOUND FOR EASY CORD MANAGEMENT
These little guys work better for me than ANY of the competing types (and I've tried several). The dogbone shape coupled with the two wire slots work very well to keep the cord wound and NOT sliding off the ends (especially when I tie a cord knot on one side of one cord slot, and then tie the cord around the narrowest spot). It's the slickest, fastest, easiest-to-use option I've found. MUCH better than the little doughnut-type cord holders.

It comes in a pack of three so good for all my other also
The smartwrap works really well keeping the earphone wires from all tangling up in my bag. It comes in a pack of three so good for all my other also. It has a weight so when wearing it keeps the cord taut. Only minor issue is by rolling the cord around keeps the cords also all curly when unwinding it. That said it is far more helpful to keep it tangle free and the frustration of trying to entangle the mess.
