The Anbernic rg351p gives you great, but not perfect, GBA performance on a screen that has the exact aspect ratio of the original device, but with a little more real estate. Its a somewhat finicky device that cant be charged and played at the same time. For the same price you can find other devices with nicer screens that massively outperform this one in every metric, but if you want to play border-less GBA this is your best option hands down.

This is my first handheld emulator and I was blown away by how much fun it was!!!In the box it game withAnbernic rg351p deviceInstructions64GB micro SD cardUSB C charging cableUSB C to USB A adapterWireless donglePre-loaded with over 2000 games from various retro consolesIt was playable out of the box and just like some reviews you might find, certain games occasionally stutter or glitch a little.I saved everything onto my pc and installed Amer Elec firmware onto my 256GB micro SD card, downloaded some games for NES and Atari 2600 and they all play very well.The battery life is good so far after a few solid hours of gameplay,getting to know the menu's and button layouts, it is still at 68% which is just as good as some of the newer handheld systems.The only downsides I can mention are;It was difficult for me to figure out how to get a more current operating system and games onto the bigger micro SD card. I had to download and flash the Amer Elec firmware onto my new micro SD card, drag the stock bios prgrams into the Amer Elec bios folder,put SD card into device, boot it up,then remove SD card, put card back into my pc and drag the games into the corresponding folders.Once I figured that out I was able to start playing the more specific games I desired.Shipping was a day earlier than expected and I am very happy with this device..as a complete beginner to handheld retro emulation, I totally recommend getting this...way to much fun for the price!!!

I bought it to play Pokémon Emerald and all other Pokémon games. I installed ArkOS which only took 30 min and it was very straight forward.ArkOS comes with RetroArch, so I can press a button to fast forward!! This function is very crucial since Pokémon can be quite repetitive.The build quality is very good, but the only issue that I have is that the shoulder buttons (ZR, R, ZL, L) are very loud (similar to a very loud mouse click noise). I might look up and find a way to replace these loud shoulder switches(probs soldering required)

If you get an SD Card with ( ArkOS Final ) operating system with installed games from: ATARI 2600 up to SNES as well as a few thousand MAME ARCADE games, on top of GB, GBC, GBA, WS, WSC, TG16, SMS, SG, MD, SCD, S32X and a variety of other platforms, this handheld game system is absolutely a dream come true for people that enjoy these classic games.If you want to get something more powerful to play newer platforms, it will cost you massively more.This Anbernic rg351p gaming device is 5 STARS, but deserves 10 STARS. Worth every penny and more.

The media could not be loaded.  A friend recommended this device to me. He had a lot of good things to say about it so I gave it a try. It was so fun I had to go and buy one for myself. It is an amazing blast from the past. I can play all my old Game Boy Advanced games I played as a kid. There are over 2000 games on this emulator, which is amazing. You can easily download ROMs online, the UI is very easy to use and understand even for someone not tech savy.One of the best features is you can save any game at anytime and load the state! This is a real game changer since the older games I played didnt support this feature. You can also record clips which is very cool.I love this, I used to use my phone as an emulator, but this device really brings it to the next level. 10/10

My kids love them. Bought 5 and one quit working. Stops working when trying to play a game. The other 4 are as expected.

Works out of the box, build quality is good and feels nice in the hand. Looking forward to testing out new firmware and seeing what it can do but even the default setup is well worth the price. Minus points for a cheap SD card that needs replacing and the rather messy default rom setup but no real complaints about the device itself.

This is a pretty great handheld once you find and install a different disc image.
