It’s all natural holistic method that is very effective.My story,I’ve Had asthma since childhood, I’m currently 37. Often symptoms were mild to moderate as I got older the symptoms increased and got out of hand in 2019.I saw every type of doctor/specialist tried every type of diet and read every book on the subject with little results, until I read breath to heal. I started working through the breathing exercises and taping my mouth at night. After about three weeks I was shocked that my symptoms started to decrease. I then contacted the breathing center and asked if I could work one on one with a practitioner. I just completed the first course successfully and have dramatically decreased my symptoms.The book really just scratches the surface of what the Butayko method actually is and the Practitioner will customize the course for your personal needs.

I suffer from severe COPD, since medicine has nothing to offer to prevent this sickness to worsen I am trying everything possible to lessen my difficult breathing. I just started trying the method described in this book.

The information in this book is very powerful. It is also counterintuitive until you understand Dr. Buteyko's discoveries. For the past 20 years I have worn out three CPAP machines and a dental appliance trying to relieve my diagnosed severe sleep apnea condition. I believe the condition and the CPAP machines caused me to undergo three heart catheter ablation operations for persistant atrial fibrillation. After only three weeks using the information in this book along with some personal consultations with the author I am now breathing normally and free from using dental appliance gizmos and CPAP contraptions while sleeping. It is key, as another reviewer has said, that you do the exercises and follow instructions.

I do not see any improvement with this method of breathing.

I haven't had asthma since I was 13 yet for the last 13 years (I am now 26) I had this very annoying feeling of not being able to take a deep breath. It stuck with me for a very long time and no matter what I tried it never got away.This feeling was also accompanied with dizziness, tingling lips, digestion problems and cold feet/hands.It brought out alot of frustration and many doctors thought that I was suffering from anxiety since all the other tests were clear.I was subscribed with SSRI and was told to take it regulary to stop my symptoms. I refused, and decided to search the internet for an answer instead.Then I stumbled upon this method and decided to buy the book. I tried doing the exercises and even though it was every hard, the very next day I already felt a relief: I could finally go a whole day without feeling like I need to yawn all the time!I am going to keep doing the exercises and decrease my breathing rate.Thank you for writing this book.
