When I first opened this I wasn't happy, I was going to send it back!BUT... I decided to wash it. (If done correctly )It washes and dries beautifully in my home machines.. I do not suggest a commercial dryer at a laundromat as they get too hot. After washing.. it was Fluffy and soft with no odor... I would not call this lightweight, it is more medium- heavy(not uncomfortably heavy)...I'm glad it could be washed and dried in home machine, because nobody wants a blanket that they can't wash and dry. Definitely wash this before you use it or give as a gift... gentle Speed Wash/cool water/ light permanent press Heat... you'll be pleasantly surprised... item was shipped very well.

I have a few of these and love them! I would not consider it lightweight but it’s not heavy either. It’s perfect mid weight. The three layers make it extra soft and warm. It’s perfect for getting cozy on chilly nights. They wash and dry well, no fancy instructions required. My old one, that has been washed a bunch, still looks as good as the one I just got. If you like fleece blankets I highly recommend this one. The layers make it dreamy!

This beats 4 soft fleece blankets. I was sleeping with 5 total blankets before and actually would have trouble falling asleep, this blanket actually helped because of the right warmth and comfort. I only use this blanket and an empty comforter on top, its not heavy, totally worth it, i had to buy a second one, I totally recommend.

I love this blanket. I hope it doesn't start tearing or ripping on me, but the reason why it's 4 star only because Amazon sent me the wrong color. It's okay. I'll keep it just because I still like it but next time do a better job. It had two barcode on it. One for black and one for grey. They scanned black that's why it went through. I'm sure they scan the grey didn't work. Then scan the black. So it went through and went off their day. Great job!

I love this blanket. It is very soft. I washed it before I used it and it held up well in both the washer and dryer. A lot of people say it’s heavy, but I wish it was weighted, I would love it even more.

This blanket is amazing. Unlike most blankets this actually has has some weight to it. My teenage son who loves to stay bundled up absolutely loves this blanket. This is perfect for these Michigan Winters.

I looked for a heavy winter WARM blanket for weeks and this is the best one I was able to find! It is 3 layers of warm comfy softness!!! This blanket is beautiful! It's so soft and light, yet still has a bit of weight to it. I always want a second blanket but my husband says it's perfect the way it is. He's a hot sleeper and wasn't sure how the fleece flannel was going to go but he loves it!
