Teaching young people musical chords.

There are a number of mistake in this book. Not great when trying to use with a class of children, so I have had to rewrite out lots of it.

Really helpful easy to use

This book has a big selection of familiar songs for even those who don't read music. I got it for an 8 year old along with a set of boomwhackers & bells. She & her parents played the instruments jointly for extra fun. There was a small mistake on Baa Baa Black Sheep (2 D notes are colored yellow instead of orange), which just shows how much she used the book to catch that in 58 songs.

Utilisation ultra facile . Très bien illustré

This is a decent book for the price. After reading comments from others about color-coded music for non music readers (young and older alike), it includes a good cross section of folk songs from different countries. No, they aren't the most updated collection of songs but our current music has all sorts of funky notes that aren't in the standard diatonic C Major scale that these bells represent. You would need the 5-note chromatic add-on bells for that. But things would get tricky. At that point, learning how to read music would be mandatory. This book is just for simple purposes. Have fun with it!
