Sig Sauer P320 full-size level 2 holster
The product seems to be very well made. This makes my 4th or 5th Blackhawk level 2 retention holster purchase. These type holsters aren't made for concealment but rather for open carry. The cost of the unit is about average for a similar level 2 holster but you get the Blackhawk name which is near the top of manufacturers. Overall I would definitely recommend this and all Blackhawk holsters because to me you won't find a better level 2 holster, not only for the price, but the overall the versatility and performance.

Works with an optic.
In another review, it appeared that sight clearance for suppressor height sights might be an issue. It seems that a redesign of the sight tunnel must have been done, as a suppressor height front sight has more than adequate clearance. In fact, try as I might, I could not get the front sight to make contact with the tunnel. To respond to comments about "Unsafe"; I have used Serpa holsters for at least ten years. The comments about the latch is in line with the trigger is completely false. Study the photo. The latch release is in line with the frame of the pistol above the trigger guard. Releasing and withdrawing the pistol forces one's finger to be in the "finger off trigger until ready to shoot" position. The Youtube where someone shoots themself in the leg was a result of the shooter trying to do a 'quick draw' with a 1911 in the cocked-unlocked (hammer cocked, safety off) condition. A 1911 should never be carried or holstered in that condition. The safe way to carry or holster a 1911 is cocked and locked (hammer cocked, safety on). In a follow up Youtube, the shooter admits his error and accepts the blame. With some practice, withdrawing from a Serpa holster becomes natural. While there are other latching designs for Level II holsters and I have tried several, in my opinion the Serpa is the most natural and safest as it forces one's finger to align with the frame above the trigger guard and requires a deliberate movement to place one's finger in the trigger guard. Kudos to Blackhawk on the redesign to accommodate higher sights used with optics.

Solid, Versatile and Affordable Holster
I'm a big fan of these Blackhawk holsters. This one is for my newly acquired Sig Sauer P320 Compact. They are well designed and well made. I like the retention feature and the fit. They come with the paddle and the belt loop attachments. I use the belt loop attachment primarily because the paddle attachment is so difficult to put on the belt and waste band and even harder to take off. The screw hole pattern on both the paddle and belt loop attachments allow the holster to be mounted for cross or hip draw and for various cant options. The screws are already treated with thread lock, so try to decide on the attachment, draw and cant before mounting the attachment. The belt loop attachment will accommodate belts up to 2.25" or with the provided belt loop spacers up to 1.75" wide. This particular holster was apparently made to fit the full size P320. It just over an inch too long for my Compact model. Since I see no point in carrying a holster that is an inch longer than my pistol I marked one inch from the end of the holster with a strip of masking tape and cut the excess off with my band saw. I dressed the cut end with sand paper. My gun fits perfectly with an eighth of an inch to protect the muzzle end of the gun. I have purchased six or seven of these holsters in the past and expect to purchase more in the future.

Good holster but Compact owners be aware
This is a quality holster like all other Blackhawk Serpas. If you like the serpa release system this is great. I love the system. The paddle holster is very comfortable and secure. It has large hooks built into the paddle to grab. That is great. 4 stars. Why? I bought this for a compact. Not a sub compact. It fits and locks fine. It is also almost an inch longer than it should be. Thats because like the stock Sig holster, it will fit a full size too. Its like putting a Glock 19 in a 17 holster. It changes the balance a little and now you are carrying more mass and hangdown. Kind of defeats the whole compact part. So from a quality standpoint, its a 5. From a fit its a 4. Thankfully, the price is very good. If Blackhawk makes one exclusively for a compact, i would by it again.

Great product
Sturdy construction active retention system comes with paddle and belt mount hardware as I rather use belt cart rather than paddle 99% of the time have used Blackhawk for yrs and have a serpa holster for everything I own this model was for my SIG M17 fit and function is perfect I'd bet my life on this product never leave home without it ...if anyone from Blackhawk reads this one thing that I would love to see is the serpa holster with a light bearing model for the olight pl mini 2 an the olight baldr mini pretty much any olight platform light in a serpa holster configuration that would really up the game in my book I've talked to several ppl and I mean a lot that feel the same way and would buy the serpa with light bearing option religiously

Good inexpensive holster with level 2 retention
Blackhawk CQC is a dependable, good fit, inexpensive holster with level 2 retention. I probably have 6 or so. They always come with belt attachment or paddle, and most times I use the paddle that rides a little closer to the body and is easy to remove without undoing my belt. Cant can be adjusted while setting it up. Never been disappointed with Blackhawk

Solid Holsters
These holsters got a bad rap because people that probably shouldn't be carrying guns (even police and military members) kept shooting themselves in the leg/foot, or just shooting the floor. If you're going to use one of these, especially with a bullet chambered, be absolutely sure you don't hit the trigger as you draw. Some people were putting too much pressure on the switch, pulling up quickly, and then hitting the trigger. I've used them for years and never had that problem. I didn't even know it was a problem until the Army started swapping away from these for that reason. I have these for my Berettas, Glock, and Sig and I can swap them from my armor mount, to leg mounts, to belt mounts quick and easy and only have to have one set of mounts for all of my holsters.

Remove WITH gun in holster
Gun Safety First! You learn how to draw, despite some folks (some gov agencies) having issues. Training is critical! Draw by pushing button and keeping finger AHEAD of it, to land on the gun frame, not the trigger! Practice, practice, practice with an empthy or fake gun! Then, since each of my pistols has a Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster, I can easily switch which gun I want to carry that day (range for practice or out and about: check YOUR STATE'S laws!), or just leave the current one hung. Really like these. Attempts by others to pull in fun (one was a perp!) the gun from the holster failed (very rare instances). But ready if needed. Guns are TOOLS not TOYS.
