AWESOME! IT'S THE 1 YOU WANT! I was so happy to get this "gift." Ultra easy install! So much additional memory. Great quality. Great price for it's storage. I think it's just perfect. I downloaded many games before I filled it up. PS5 recognizes and swapping between the 2 storages is simple. 100% approve this product. If you can afford more storage then do that. This was perfect for me. So easy to install with instructions plain as day. All the reviews I did and I'm glad I landed with this guy. Couldn't be happier!

Used for a PS5. Easy to install on the newer slim PS, and decent value for the money considering it's a 2TB and has a heatsink. Fits perfectly, formatted quickly and runs cool.

Tons of options available when looking to upgrade your internal memory storage for the PS5, but many of those options can be very pricey at the 1TB range (and even more astronomical for a 2TB), but this Sabrent 1tB storage had a great price point of right around $100, and the performance is top notch. Comes with an included heat sink to keep things running smoothly and installation was a breeze; literally took me 5 minutes tops. The performance so far has been A-1 - I cannot tell the difference between playing games from the internal PS5 storage versus this memory stick. No hesitations whatsoever in recommending this for your PS5 storage upgrade

Purchased product in December 2021 and it died, apparently, a few days ago. I got less than 1 year of use in my PS5. But while it worked, it worked great. Installation was easy and speeds were great.I've submitted a warranty claim via the Sabrent website. I am glad I kept the original packaging with he model and serial number. Hope they honor their warranty so that I can get back to gaming.I will update when and if I get a response.Update: Replaced and happy again with the product

I was apprehensive when I ordered this based on a number of reviews that says it clocks slower than recommended for PS5 and/or that I would need to plug it into a PC to update the firmware. After a bunch of research, I took the plunge anyway. Worked great. Not 7000+, for which I assume I would need to update the firmware, but the PS5 recognized it as being 6300+, which is plenty for my PS5 needs. The heat sink seems really good, and other more technical review sites that can image heat and get accurate readings seem to think that the heatsink is very effective. Will update if this thing dies too quickly or something, but the price compared to other similar ssd's with heat sinks, on top of this particular heat sink being explicitly designed for PS5, plus the ease of installation, and with the more-than-sufficient speed clocked by the PS5 all make this a 5-star buy so far.

Got a PS5 a few months ago and with the size of game files/copying entire game discs to the internal SSD my system's capacity filled up pretty fast.Did some research on which drive to get. The Sabrent is PCie gen 4, which is what you want for fastest speed compatible with your PS5 console.The reason I settled on this M.2 drive in particular was because of the custom heatsink. It's designed specifically to fit in the system. Proper heat dissipation is important with NVME/M.2 drives. As they get hotter they can throttle and slow down.The thermal pad was pre applied to the heatsink so once I installed the drive all I had to do is peel the plastic cover off the bottom and stick the heatsink on the top of the drive. It was very easy to install. The case the drive comes in is also really nice and I put the metal plate from my PS5 (the default M.2 cover) into the Sabrent box for safe keeping.So far the drive works great, formatting was super fast and read speed according to my console is around 6,888mb/s which coincides with the advertised speed.I have no complaints about this purchase. If you can get this particular drive on sale I'd recommend it over many other options.

Le radiateur s'adapte parfaitement à la forme de la console et l'installation est très simple : il suffit de le brancher (plug-and-play). Cependant, il est important de bien fixer le radiateur sur le SSD NVMe avant l'installation.

Totalmente compatible con la PS5, no se aprecia lag ni diferencia con respecto al que trae la consola instalado de fábrica. Satisfecho con la compra.

Na ontvangst direct in mijn PS5 gezet, ging erg makkelijk. Alles liep soepel, alleen de leessnelheid werd getest op 5,400 MB/s. Dit is helaas lager dan het minimum geadviseerde van Playstation zelf. En het scheelt best veel met de 7000 MB/s die hij zou kunnen halen. Om deze reden terug gestuurd.

Hallo Leute, ich habe mir die SSD mit Kühlung für meine PS 5 geholt. Gleich vorne weg, ich bin kein Fake Feedbackschreiber.Was soll ich sagen, in erster Linie tut sie das was sie soll. Einbau war, selbst für mich die kein Hardwaregenie ist, super einfach. Die SSD wird im Prinzip doppelt gekühlt. Ersten durch den Pad und zweitens durch die Abdeckung. Die original Abdeckung passt dann nicht mehr drauf, aber das muss sie auch nicht, weil ja die Abdeckung von der SSD alles gut verschließt und trotzdem genug Luft dran kommt. Habe die original Abdeckung in meinen PS 5 Karton verfrachtet, so kommt sie auch nicht weg.Nun wieder zur SSD: Games sind schnell von der Konsole auf die SSD verschoben (also 120 GB z.B. in unter zwei Minuten...meine externe normalo Festblatte braucht da fast 30 minuten für). Sie wird auch bei Ausreizen der Spiele nicht heiß.Games, gerade auch PS 5 Games, lassen sich ohne Probleme von dort öffnen und auch spielen. Die SSD ist kaum hörbar, obwohl ich als nicht Experte nicht sagen kann, ob das winzige Geräusch von der SSD oder der Konsole kommt. Jedenfalls ist alles schön leise, sogar FAST geräuschlos.Also ich kann diese SSD nur empfehlen und kann die teils mittelmäßigen oder schlechten Meinungen nicht verstehen. Bei mir funktioniert alles wie es soll. Schnell, leise, wird nicht heiß und ich habe endlich Platz für mehr Games. Klare Kaufempfehlung für mich jedenfalls
