What I like about the Thrive mascara is that it washes off completely with water and you don't have the "raccoon eyes" and have to do a second step of using make-up remover under the eyes; however, this NYX produce still gave the racoon eyes, and did not completely wash off. It gave decent volume, but if you are looking for a true "tube" mascara, this one isn't it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price point *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019* This product is a lot better than expected, especially for the price point. I have been using another very expense "tube style" mascara, but it was $25. So, I thought I would try to find a less expensive alternative. The product shipped and was delivered as promised. It comes in a nice box and has a security tape over the product. Upon opening and removing the wand, it is very thick and I wasn't sure how well it would apply. Application was easy and was able to cover the lashes quickly and it looked great. As the day wears on, there is no flaking, crumbing or coming off around your eyes. The only thing I noticed, was that the lashes do not remain "long" all day. Strange how you never see any crumbs or flakes. A couple of swipes on one eye, same for the other, then return to each for another couple of swipes. DONE and beautiful. However, NYX has changed the interior of the container so that when pulling the wand out, there is nothing "scraping" excess product so the want is all wet with clumps of mascara. When you swipe your eyes, the lashes don't separate bc there's a glop of mascara covering them. I thought maybe I got a bad package, so I went to a local store and purchased another. SAME THING HAPPENED. So no more Doll Eye for me.
