I ordered this set last night and had them shipped overnight. It was actually delivered in under 24 hours! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entire kit! I've bought several different clipper sets in the past 6 years and this beats anything I've had or used. My little fur- babies include 2 Shizhus and 3 Shizhu/ Chihuahua mix. They usually each have a VERY loud drama-filled melt-down during their grooming, but NOT TODAY!😊 The clipper itself was very quiet and that went a long way to ease their fear! It has different length fine-tuned settings built-in. It also included a fully charged battery and six different combs to choose the length of the cut I wanted. I chose a close cut that we call our "Spring/Summer cut". The clipper was powerful, easy to use, and cut through their long/thick hair like a hot knife thru butter!! It usually takes at least an hour each to trim Loretta and Bubby (the Shizhus) and around 45 minutes each for Max, Bailey, and Lady Bug (the Shizhu/Chihuahua mixes.) With these clippers I finished them all in just under 3 hours and the clippers still have 50% charge! The ceramic blades NEVER even got hot!! The ONLY issue I had was with the Paw Trimmers. They didn't work as well for me as the clippers. There were two interchangeable heads in the kit for the Paw Trimmers and there was what I call another "gear" (speed) I could use but even that just didn't seem to have the same power and ease to cut their paws. I ended up using the clippers and the EXTREMELY NICE scissors that came with set! Afterwards, I was able to (with the instruction card) easily take off the blade, clean, and oil it in the recommended areas and replace the blade before putting it on charge. I WILL DEFINITELY BE GIVING A FIVE STAR REVIEW!!! If you're out there.... with one or more fur babies, you can't afford to have a personal groomer to trim them, and if you're like me and honestly have come to dread even the thought of putting your fur babies through another grooming session where they are terrorized by the loud rattling noise of the clipper that ends up pulling their hair and getting hot before you finish one pup, BUY THIS SET!!! After 15 years of taking our Maltipoo to the groomers, they told me that they did not want to cut our dogs hair anymore since he is now blind and becomes scared so easily. So, I needed to try to cut his hair on my own. Shame on them! I did a lot of reading and watching videos, and decided to give these clippers a go, and am so happy that I did. The first time I cut my dogs hair was the day after I received these clippers. I took my time, starting down the back, cutting just a small amount off at a time, starting with the large guards to get the feel of them and working my way down to the sized guard that was cutting the length that looked good for my dog. You can always cut a little more off, but you cannot add it back on. Even though I was going slow while learning, taking 2 to 3 hours of time, the clippers showed that the battery still had over 80 percent charge left when I was done. The trimmers are going to take a little longer for me and the dog to get used to, as most dogs do not take too kindly with handling their paws very much, and it takes a bit of patience while learning to be very careful when trimming around the face, eyes, ears, genitals, and such using the trimmers and scissors, while learning how to keep the dog still for at least a few moments of time. Sometimes you need to just stop and take a break for yourself and the dog. There is really no reason to be in a hurry. The scissors and comb are great. You need to be sure to first give the dog a bath and be dried off, then get any knots out before using the clippers. The comb helped a lot with getting knots out, using it lightly and slowly from the top of the knot on down, until it is removed, and you can comb though it with no resistance. If necessary, cut it out. Once you can comb through all of the hair easily without running into any knots, then you are ready to start cutting and saving money with no more groomers. Be sure to keep the clippers and trimmers clean and well oiled, and you will want to buy some more clipper oil because these should last a long time. I can’t think of how this kit could be any better, other than maybe a pair of curved scissors.

We got this to keep our 13-year-old Lakeland terrier trim, and it has become one of those "why didn't we do this earlier" purchases. While there's definitely a bit of a learning curve, and she doesn't look as spiffy as she does after a day at the groomer's, she is also too old and unsteady on her feet for her groomers to take her anymore. This works like a charm and immediately paid for itself and more on the first cut. It is quiet, and comes with a wide assortment of attachments. I was nervous about accidentally cutting her, or botching the job in some other way, but it seems very safe overall, and the sight of all of that hair coming off is extremely satisfying. I anticipate using this often to keep her hair trim, which should also keep down the pet dander/shedding in the house, and keep her cool in the summer. I'm taking a star off only because the printed directions are not great, and to truly learn how to clip your dog's hair you will need to spend some time on YouTube or elsewhere. It's worth watching the videos that other customers have shared for this product. Also, for this price, one has to be realistic. The clippers are reasonably well-made but not professional quality. I expect this set to last a while but not forever. If I had a younger or larger dog, or was more dedicated to learning how to groom, I would have invested in a more expensive set of clippers. I can’t give this enough stars. I have a large newfidoodle- and she had a ton of mats from playing with the other dogs. She has dense curly hair with the poodle coat. I bought a set of clippers (regular) and they choked within seconds. So I found THIS set and it was like magic!! This set has everything you need to trim a pup. I was able to get around her feet very easily, and I also used the paw trimmer to trim her eyebrows and around her ears. It was also the perfect size and sound near the base of her tail and between her legs. It’s quiet enough they aren’t disturbed by the noise, making it easier to trim. The larger clippers went right through her thick coat, giving an even cut. I was really impressed. It didn’t pull her hair so she stayed calm, which made it easy for me. It was cordless and had plenty of power. I would recommend this time and time again.

I am 76 yrs old and have been clipping horses and dogs for 60 yrs! Spent thousands over the yrs grooming/showing both beasts. My 4 pr are now worn out and have been paying $80 every 2 mos to have my 15# boy clipped. Disappointed with current groomer, checked with Amazon for an inexpensive clipper for my little dramatic brat. Ordered at 5 PM. arrived at 8 PM same night! Fairly quiet so it doesn't scare my dog. I like the variety of lengths of clipper attachments for the larger clipper. The smaller trimmer has both a narrow and a wide head attachment. Both clippers are rechargeable and have different speeds. The slowest speed is the quietest and my normally anxious dog doesn't have a problem with it. It also comes with some scissors and a metal comb. It seemed like a lot to spend at first, but it has really saved me the cost of taking my dog to the groomers and I can cut his fur to my liking. I think this was a great buy and would recommend to anyone with a dog who's anxious about going to the groomers or who's tired of paying for grooming.

This grooming kit is amazing! My little Yorkie is very laid back, but using my old pet or human clippers took so long I typically had to give him 3-4 breaks from standing the one and a half to two hours needed to groom him. These clippers rarely required a second pass, where the old ones (made by a major manufacturer) required multiple passes. The paw and pad clipper is awesome, and allowed a quicker, more even trimming of his feet. The charge lasted well, with power left had I needed it. I shaved 45 minutes off my usual grooming time (no pun intended), with only one break needed to allow Frankie to rest. Even in his multiple swirling (cowlicks) areas the clippers consistently trimmed the uneven patterns quickly and very smoothly. I definitely recommend the product to anyone wanting a good grooming kit.
