Charges in a few hours for hours of play in the evening. Very happy. I bought another brand w/o solar charging and it was a nightmare. Good quality sound. I mainly use it for radio and podcasts. I waited several days to do a review to make sure it will hold up, and work.

The speaker has great sound at a reasonable price. Love the look and the solar charging. I use it with and indoor Amazon Echo paired to the unit outside on the deck. However after about 2 months it stopped working. I contacted Alpine support and was treated to a new replacement unit once I provided a couple of pictures and a short video of the unit not working.Well done Alpine!

Tested these quite a bit and here are some tips for a better experience:1. If you charge via USB when not in use, your speakers will stop disconnecting. The solar only extends the useful life. By charging only with solar there isn't enough power when you go to use them.2. Pair to an amazon type Echo and configure the music source to always use external speakers (bluetooth) and you will have to pair / connect every time you want to use.3. I mounted an Alexa dot (no screen) upside down under the eave of my house near the pool. This is the device I pair to. In Florida and it continues to work even with the salt air and multiple hurricanes now for over 3 years. This unit is permanently paired the to the speakers and I can be anywhere in the backyard and hear the Ring doorbell / washer/ dryer /oven announcements. AND I can just say, Alexa play.... almost anywhere out back and she responds.Hope this helps.

This speaker has been great. I charged it one time use it almost every evening. The solar panel has kept it charged since the first charge. It’s not the loudest, but it sounds good.

I’ve had these in the past and always had steady connection problems. I haven’t had any issues with this one in the month I’ve owned it. Always connects right away and the solar charge has been flawless. Highly recommend.

One works ok, two won’t work together. Returning.

The speaker has great sound at a reasonable price. Love the look of it. Charges fairly quickly. Lasts a long time once charged. I don't think the solar part works too great but as long as you charge it, it will last a while.

Product was great and worked well. Loved the solar feature so we never had to worry about charging. Product turns on but cannot connect to Bluetooth so it’s unusable.
