Kendal Mint Cake 125 g (Pack of 6)

I am a type 1 diabetic. I need something that will treat a low quickly and reliably. Glucose tabs take several tabs to work and you are never sure if you have the right number. I have found one portion of this six portion bar is enough to fix pretty much all of my low blood sugars. There are 25 carbs and 100 calories, but you don't have to worry you haven't done enough. It is also very quick on uptake so I start going back into normal faster than any other product I've tried. They are mint, so they taste good but not TOO good. When they are new, they melt quickly and again have fast up take, even when the harden somewhat, they are great. The tins they have make travel with them easy. I now order them from England more often than not and get a case of them.

These are lovely! They came very quickly and in perfect condition. Great for training or for low blood sugar.

A friend gave me a bite that she'd brought back from a trip to the UK. I saw it here and bought it. Good thing it is expensive or it could kill my efforts to diet.

I developed a love for these mint cakes when my wife and I went to England a couple of times in the 1990's. I never could find them in the States until I found them on Amazon last year. Thank you Amazon!! If you like a strong mint taste, this is what you want. Yum
