Amazing Results with Perfect-It Ultrafine Polish!
The 3M Perfect-It Ultrafine Machine Polish is hands down one of the best automotive polishes I’ve used! The 32 fl. oz. size is perfect for multiple applications, and a little goes a long way. It’s incredibly effective at removing light scratches and swirl marks, leaving a flawless, high-gloss finish. I used it on my car after polishing with a heavier compound, and the results were stunning—deep, glossy shine with no haze or imperfections. The polish is easy to apply and buff off, and it works beautifully with a dual-action polisher. If you’re serious about keeping your car’s paint in top condition, this is a must-have product!

Unbelievable performance, NOTHING is better or as good
Tried this out on several cars, all Dark color. 2012 Ford Explorer dark metallic Blue, BMW M5Black, Volvo S60 Pearl Metalic Black. Truely a superior product and secret of the high end body shops and High end show car market. I also tried it on an older Redline Bike red.....WOW. for every step of the 4 step process. I suggest watching the videos for using the 3M Perfect-It line of products. It is important to follow the steps exactly. It sounds like alot of extra work, but it actually turns out to be much less. As each step is quick and 1/4 of the time required using Meguirer's - Mother's or some other expensive big box store compounds. Those don't work anything like perfect-it nor do they produce 1/2 the result. With non-dark colors it might not be important to use the ultra fine and glaze, but if the color has any detail or quality to it then its worth the try. Yes this is expensive, but you really can make the car look better than factory new, MUCH BETTER, not just a little. It really gives dark colors a very deep reflective body, and brings out body lines very well. When I say it reduces time, it really only takes a few passes to do 90-95% of what that step is gonna do. Other compounds take far more time to work in, glaze (turn to a rouge) and be removed. Some will even ball up or gum up on the paint. It is important if you care at all to use the 3m pads and cloths when you get to the final steps. machine polish-ultra fine- and glaze, to obtain a perfect finish. I feel with the hundreds of dollars I've spent on the other brands, I never achieved a finish like this. And I can make my work boots heels and toes shine like a mirror. So that being said, I feel I wasted my money trying to do what this 3M perfect-it does. If your scared of using 3000 grit or 1500 grit sand paper to your car, you won't after seeing what this system does. Unfortunately the whole reason for me purchasing the perfect-it line was because an Iron worker decided to spray the new car with hot metal shavings that melted into the black volvo. Needless to say, sanding was the first step, but now there is a smooth mirror finish, orange peel or any of the factory imperfections are gone. This was the last compound step and then I used the machine pad glaze, (3M imperial hand glaze also works very good) Then I finished with 3m carnauba wax. For dark colors ultra fine is a must and worth every penny. You WILL be proud of the result. Sorry for the long post, and thank you to Vern's Body Shop in Flint MI and Brad for recommending this.

Great polish and will be one of my go-tos
While I was detailing my 2003 Audi RS 6, it felt my existing machine polishes were not doing much if anything. Did some research and came across this one. I already had the ultra cutting compound in this family, so this made sense. This polish was very easy to work with and I could see the results very quickly when trying to remove compounding marks. Buffed off easily and left no residual marks except major ones even compounding could not get out.Note that this product is supposed to be used by a rotary polisher, but it works more than well enough with a DA. So go for it.Fantastic product. Thanks 3M.

and I thought it did a great job protecting my paint and keeping it clean from ...
Worth every penny. That's if you have a black car.I have always been a fan of liquid glass for my car, and I thought it did a great job protecting my paint and keeping it clean from dust. I had no idea how many swirl marks had added up over the years until I finished up a 7 hour polishing job with this product. The swirl marks are gone. The scratches are gone (after sanding). The headlights are new.One word of advice. Do not skip to this product without using #1 and #2. It is imperative to use #2 before this application because of the surface prep it provides. Without it, you will still see swirl marks and you will be unhappy with the result I promise you.Do as follows and you will be happyWash car thoroughly.Clay bar carefully, and get every nook and crannyWash againDry THROUGHLYUse rotary tool with matching white foam pad with product #1 and follow directions on bottle. Read directions firstWipe excess off with microfiberMove to bottle 2 and use black pad or fine wool finishing pad (black pad is usually hard to find) and follow directions on bottle (directions very important for bottle 2)Wipe excess off with microfiberApply #3 with blue foam pad, and do not use any other type of applicator. Follow directions very carefully because this is the real finisher.Wipe with microfiber and check with led flashlight. You should see streak free surface. There will oily feedback, but that is the finish, which we will deal with later.2 choices now:Add polymer coating or use natural paste waxI washed the car again because I would acheive better adhesion of the polymer to a clean surface. Used 3m polymer wax all around. And then paste wax.All thanks to paste and foam applicator #3, I have the cleanest black paint I have ever seen on my car. Next week is the silver car, and I'm sure #1 +2 will suffice for that one.Read the instructions on each bottle!!!!!!! Or else you're wasting time and money.Enjoy.

Easy to use. Make Your Car Paint POP!
I wanted to lightly remove some cloudiness in the clearcoat. This product was perfect for the job and easy for a beginner to use. No swirl marks, anywhere. I applied, buffed, checked, buffed until I took my car paint from shine to POP.
