I LOVE IT!! Works well but buzzes
June 12, 2022, update: I am adding a new found reason why this fan is AMAZING and why I just ordered a 2nd one. Today I noticed that the bug screen was plugged with cotton-wood fluff (it’s that time of year in Vancouver). All I had to do was remove the bug screen, clean it, and put it back on. Very easy and quick! The reason why this is AMAZING is because all my previous window fans required me to remove the front grill, clean it, clean the blades, and then use 1000’s of Q-tips to clean the back grill. This is so easy and very convenient. I’m not saying dust won’t ever get into the fan and make the blades and grill get dirty, but the bug screen will make the task much less frequent. ****I LOVE IT**** I live in the Vancouver BC area and last summer we experienced an excruciating heat dome so I decided to buy this item in January 2022 when supply was not a problem. I finally needed it this week (May 30/22). I’ve had several window fans over the years. I chose this one because of the remote control, and the bug screen and cover. My window slides open so it is installed vertically. The “fins” that pull out on each end are cheap. One side came apart. No big deal, I prefer to use a piece of cardboard to fill the gap between the fan and the top inside edge of the window. The fan works very well. It does have an audible buzz to it when turned on, but it’s a lot quieter than my air conditioner and uses little electricity to operate. The bonus is that I can use the remote control to change fan direction from cooling the room to blowing out stale air. Last night was my first time using it and at 3:00am a skunk sprayed near the building. It was a luxury to be able to grab the remote from my bed and switch the blades to blow out. In the past I had to get up, remove the window fan, and close the window. Then - try to figure out how to get the stench out of the room. So overall I am very happy with the product.

Great. reverse air, bit noisy
Great fan. Reverse air with remote. Louder than they advertised but not bad.

Good fan
This is a good machine works well on all settings. The only downfall is that the fan makes a good bit of noise, but is not too bad. Overall good item.

This may be the best fan I've ever used... & I can't sleep without at least one fan, so... lol.
I've had this fan only for a few hours, but, considering we had to deal with still being super overheated when we had 3 tower fans + a ceiling fan... Once I installed this Comfort Zone window fan into our window and started it, it's been doing a better job than all 4 previous fans combined, all by itself! It's incredible. Will come update later if we have any issues, but for now, it's quite comfortable in this room, for the first time in 3+ years that we've lived here. the cooling performance is top tier, the remote works a treat and helps if you have chronic pain like myself. It fit into our window super simply and easily, and even locked into place once I set it up, I love the little table-feet things, for if we need to put it into storage, and while it's just a little bit more loud than a regular tower fan, the noise level is a great deal less than getting a window-a/c unit. Overall, thus far, I am super happy with this purchase!!

Nice window fan
This window fan works great! It is made of lightweight plastic, so it is not as heavy as the Bionaire fan, but it does not feel flimsy or affect its performance. I have been using it for about two weeks, sometimes for up to 16 hours a day during the New York summer. I was worried that it might overheat, but it has continued to work perfectly. It feels durable, provides good airflow, and the noise is barely noticeable.

Hit and miss
Just got my fan today and i love it. It fits perfectly in my window without removing the existing screen. My previous fan was insanely loud so for me the noise lvl is no issue at all much better then my old 1. I could do without the beeps when pushing buttons but its not as bad as i was expecting from the reviews. I have it set to circulate and in a short time the room is already a few degrees cooler. Some reviewers had issues with the expanding bellows on each side. Maybe they had a defective 1 or were not unlocking or locking the clips properly because mine slides out easily and fully and securely locks in place with the locking clips on all 4 corners. If you want more of an air tight seal between the fan and the window, you can always get insulation foam tape. But honestly i dont think you will need it unless you have odd shapped window frames. I think im going to get another 1 for the kitchen to exhaust and circulate since it can get very muggy while cooking. Update: I changed my star rating from 5 to 2. As you can see my first fan was a solid 5 star experience. However the second fan was deffective. The front cover which the motor is mounted to was deformed and concaved inward causing the blades to hit the rear cover to the point the left blade would not spin. Because i didnt want to go through the hassle of returning it i got a wooden spatula and pushed the fan outward from behind. Its still concaved but at least it works (for now.). Make no mistake while a window fan can be very effective at cooling or venting a room, this brand and model is very flimsy and cheaply made. I no longer have confidence in how long any of the fans i bought will last. I will not be buying a 3rd 1 like i originally planned. Very disappointed.

Solid fan
This is a great little fan. I love that it switches from cool to exhaust with the push of a button. We use it to draw cool air in at night and it works great. We have it set inside the screen but it comes with a bug shield if you don’t have a screen. We’ve let this in the window through rain and it is works great.

NON Window Fan
The housing/plastic body of this fan is complete garbage. I was nervous when I removed it from the box because it felt SO light and cheap, but the real problem is the accordion gap fillers. They do not stay in place. I have a side-sliding window so it needed to stand up on its end, vertically, which the description claims it can do. It's a joke. It falls right down. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to rig it into place with a combination of sweet talking, verbal threatening, material stuffed around it to help support it, squishing my window closed on it..... it just won't stay. I got it to stay once and then the next time I turned it on (using the remote) the vibration knocked it right down again. It fell three more times before I yanked it out of the window in disgust. There's little "nubs" that are supposed to hold the sliding pieces into position - you pull out the accordion piece and the nubs are supposed to hold it in place. But they're smooth and ROUNDED. I have no idea what they were thinking when they designed it. So of course it slides right off. So it is therefore useless as a window fan. Because we're in the middle of a heat wave and I've also been ill, I can't get out right now to return this. So I am begrudgingly using it as a room fan using the enclosed feet (which barely stay on the unit). I will say this, the fan itself works fine, I have no major complaints. When I had it in the window for the short amount of time that it stayed in place, I noticed a difference in that room only, but it was not enough to notice at all in the next room. But now that I'm skipping the window, I have put it in a cut-out that connects my kitchen to my entry hall and it works quite nicely there. It's eye level and about 2 feet from where I stand to cook, and it does feel very nice and is an upgrade from the single small clip-on fan I had in that spot. I don't find the noise of the fan bothersome, but at that distance I must agree that the sound of the beep (when pressing a button) is annoying. But even worse than the loud screechy beep sound is the obnoxiously bright red light when it's on. It's freakishly bright and even startles me if I see it out of the corner of my eye from another room, it's really quite glaring. I keep meaning to put a piece of black electrical tape over it to dull it a bit. The "circulate" feature (one blowing in and the other blowing out) isn't very noticeable, at least in my kitchen instead of a window. So I really only use it 'cool' (blowing at me), although I'll be interested to see if it might help circulate my heat in the winter months. The soft-material screen that covers the back would have been very handy for bugs, but since it's not functional in a window, it now serves as a dust cover on the back of the unit. The front cover that's included is sort of useless really, it's too thin to keep cold or hot air out when in a window, so I'm not really sure what the point of it is. Pros: Sound of it running has a soft hum that I don't find bothersome at all (even with TV shows playing on my little Kindle directly next to it) The remote is handy (and works at a good distance away, surprisingly). The screen for the back of the unit is handy for bugs and/or dust The fan blows air, as a fan should. Feels nice when standing in front of it. Cons: As a WINDOW fan it is USELESS due to the accordion parts being so poorly designed. The red light is obnoxiously bright. The beep when buttons/remote is used is a loud screeching kind of beep that makes me understand why other reviewers actually disassembled it to remove it. Did I mention it doesn't stay in the window? I could have spent half the price of this for a room fan. So yes, it works as a room fan, but I wasn't trying to buy a room fan. Also, before leaving this review I tried to contact the seller and was not able to find any contact info for them. So 2 stars it is.

Love it!
It works so good. I love the different options it has. My one dislike is the beep it makes every time you push a button. Either than that its great.

Puedo dormir tranquilamente.

Better than I expected it to be
Definitely glad I bought this fan. It's great when the air conditioner isn't on or on days that it's cool. The fan is quiet the remote is great to have. The cool air was worth the price for sure. You can't put a price on comfort sometimes, right? I just have this fan in against the window screen works great this way too. And I do have the bug screen on the back side the air flows through it nice. And when it's too cold I'll put the humidity screen on and that works well also.

Pleased overall but expanders are useless
Overall, I am quite happy with it so far and feel I received good value for the price (bought it on Prime Day for $68). It moves air pretty well and while I didn't think I would have much use for the circulate option that's what I use most of the time. Bit noisy at top speed but I live downtown and get so much noise through the window to begin with (traffic, sirens, yelling weirdos, etc.) that the fan noise becomes white noise for me however, if you are used to a quiet bedroom this may be an issue for you. I like having the remote so I don't have to get out of bed at night to change settings. Only negative thing and the reason I took off a star from my rating is that the accordion expanders are garbage, as they won't lock into place. I use the fan vertically in the window and there is absolutely no way I would trust them to hold the fan in place so I had to improvise. I use the bug screen on the outward facing side all the time in addition to the window screen and like having the fabric screen to put on when I go out so I don't have to worry about the schmutz coming in from the street all day. There was no problem fitting the fan into my window. Update August 25, 2024: Happy to say that the fan is still working as well as when I starting using it last year. With the heat we've had, it has been on more days and for longer periods of continuous time so I am still very pleased with my purchase.
