This is a really nice megaphone and has been louder and clearer than others I have owned in the past. I purchased it to use around our pool, yard, and property, and it has worked exactly how I hoped it would. This megaphone is a huge hit! I bought it for lunchroom duty at my children's school. But I've numerous other areas I can use it! While working playground duty I love to yell " I love you" across the recess yard. I also have been using it at the kids softball/baseball games. It's been an even bigger hit there, although the opponents wouldn't agree. Another interesting tidbit: I started getting this odd noise whenever I'd speak into it. I thought perhaps it was defective. Which made me very sad. A number of kids blamed the other kids for breaking it when I had a strict adult use only policy. So I requested an exchange. However, it turns out my megaphone was NOT defective or broken. When I went to take the batteries out of the "defective" one I soon realized someone had put ONE battery the wrong way. It still works with one battery in wrong FYI. Haha I finally got the true story that a child did try to use it and accidentally pressed the battery latch, releasing the batteries on the ground. They tried to quickly put the batteries back in and put one in wrong. So if this happens to you, check the batteries. Overall 100/10 I'd recommend. Now the bus drivers want to get some!

I got this as a joke, it turned out to be the best alarm for my grandchildren to get up. I am a newly retired person, I have things to get done, no time for waiting, they really don't care for the siren, that is perfect.

Bought for a co-worker to use to get truck drivers attention. She love it. She dont have to go chase them doen when they walk off. She uses to get their attention. Super loud for a small mic.

It was a gift for a friend who lives in a large villa, and keeps shouting to call his children to come to lunch... they seem to enjoy it. Material is good and the sound seems okay.
