I have become the eco-gremlin of repairs
Bought this to fix one innocent broken item and now I skitter around the house at night looking for injured plastic to save. Laundry basket handle? Resurrected. Cracked bins? Reborn. Busted 4-wheeler fender that was one wobble away from retirement? Back on active duty like nothing happened. This thing heats up fast, the staples sink in nicely, and the repairs are way stronger than I expected. Once you get the hang of it, it’s wildly satisfying — like giving your stuff little plastic stitches instead of sending it to the landfill abyss. There is a tiny learning curve and you do need to pay attention because the hot tip is hot (shocker!), but after a couple practice runs it’s smooth sailing. Pro tip: trim the staple ends and reinforce stress points while you’re in there. Cleaner look, stronger repair, maximum gremlin efficiency. If you enjoy saving money, saving plastic, and feeling like a chaotic good repair wizard doing favors for Mother Earth, this tool is absolutely worth it. Reduce, reuse, re-fuse. Gremlin approved.

The Bumper Resurrection Device: Jesus Would Be Jealous
I hit a deer, cried for three seconds, then remembered I’m cheap. This yellow plastic welder showed up like a tiny superhero with a hot stapler. Ten minutes later my cracked bumper looked like it had a minor disagreement with a shopping cart instead of a full-on wildlife collision. The hot staples melt in perfectly, the gun heats up faster than my ex’s temper, and it works on basically every plastic part I’ve thrown at it. Zero leaks, zero regrets, and the insurance company still has no idea. Five stars because my wallet and I are laughing all the way to not-the-body-shop. Buy it, love it, hide the evidence.

Would recommend for short projects
Works great for short cutting projects and plastic welding. The 2nd time I used it was for a larger project welding my taillights coarse after making them clear. Towards the end of the second one the gun stopped working and after letting it sit for a while it worked again for about 30 minutes and then not at all again. I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me another one overnight to finish my project. Absolutely amazing customer service.

Nice Kit to have around the shop
Everything works as advertised, easy to operate, seems like it will hold up for my everyday use. Liked the extra plastic that comes with it. Cutting head work nice. Only disappointment is that the size or thickness of the staples are very thin. I'm not sure if it is due to the wattage rating or not. This is why I could not give it a five start.

Yes, this is the welder you need
First off, I love that it comes with a carrying case and a form-fitting box for easy storage, otherwise I’d have parts everywhere. I like yellow color to distinguish from other tools. 100W is more than enough; staple gets red hot in <5 secs. Also cools just as quickly - big plus when storing away. The tiny tool-tip holes are slightly less wide than the metal staples so they stay in place even upside down. Worked flawlessly on my first application - broken swivel on headphones (son sat on them, 1st pic). 4 staples later and it’s solidly repaired, no wiggle after the 2nd staple (see photos). My only beef are the wire-cutting snips (aka “dikes”, for diagonal cutters) ) which are not flush to the bottom, so I used my pair (red, in photo). Since I’m buying the plastic stapler not the accessories, per se, I still give it 5-stars. You can get a flush-cut pair of dikes here: https://www.amazon.com/IGAN-P6-Precision-Clippers-Spring-loaded-Handmade/dp/B087P191LP/ Tips for usage: (i) Welding goes quick, so mount the piece to be repaired leaving one free hand for welding. (ii) Have ventilation (fan) over the work area, as the plastic sends up an acrid smoke. (iii) After inserting, hold the work for 5-8 seconds while it cools. (iv) Seemed that the flat hot cleanup blade was a bit more risky; though I used it, I got better overall results with my Dremel as it grinds off sharp metal edges as well as smooths the plastic. Overall a most valuable addition - shout-out to Chickacanic on YouTube for her suggestion. This has the best features all-around.

Works like a charm on large cracks
We have made hundreds of Amazon purchases this last year, but I have reviewed less than a dozen. This product made enough of an impression to deserve comment. There is an excellent YouTube video of a man using it to repair a wheelbarrow. I followed his example to repair cracks in our trash receptacles and easily achieved similar, though less esthetic results. Everything I needed was in the kit and the tool functioned exactly as designed. My sole complaint is that the included angle cutters can’t cut the protruding pins flush, but I already have an excellent pair of side cutters that can. There is a real joy in restoring function to large plastic things and keeping them out of the landfill for several more years. I tend to be a hoarder of slightly broken things, so I envision quite a few more projects this spring for my Allturn Plastic Welding Kit.

Works well
Works very well. Tried it on my son's broken hot wheels launcher. Not the prettiest for my first try, but it is fixed and strong.

Great value plastic welder – got the job done fast
I picked up this plastic welder mainly for bumper repair and I’m honestly impressed for the price. It comes with cutting and smoothing tips, which made the repair process a lot easier. There isn’t a ton of filler material included, but at this price point that’s totally fine and expected. What really stood out was how fast everything went. My package arrived in under 45 minutes, and within an hour of opening the box I already had my heavily damaged bumper welded back together and mounted on my project car. The unit heats up almost instantly, so there’s no waiting around to get started. There’s not much of a learning curve either—it’s very easy to use right out of the box. I plugged it in and put it straight to work with no issues. If you’re a DIYer or working on automotive plastics, this is a solid tool to have without spending a ton of money. Highly recommend for quick repairs and garage projects. I’m a professional and will definitely say if lives up to pro standards it’s more than enough for a home consumer.

Work well, made an easy car bumper repair in question of minutes. Got a big ass racoon at night, it won't bring the parts that I have lost on the side of the road but it is much more stronger. Buffed the pins down with a sandpaper wheel grinder after.

This would be a 5 star, as I absolutely love this tool! Just takes a quick modification to be perfect, and then you can finally repair all those broken plastics! The thing is....when doing lots of melting/smoothing with the spreader tip, the unit will overheat, and takes some time to cool off (10-15mins) So...remove all the screws in body, carefully pull apart, look at how everything is supposed to be seated as you pull it apart so you can put it together right. Then cut away excess plastic as desired from body to create venting. Then put back together. You should now be able to use the tool 4x longer, and when it overheats, set it down in front of a fan, and in 1min, you're ready to go! See pic for what I did.
