Olive Oil Girls Fly-Away Taming Hair Gel

I cannot say enough about this gel. I was looking for a good gel for my daughter’s dance as she has to have her hair in a very tight “ballet bun.” The different gels and hairsprays I’ve used before this one have not held up. Her hair is always crispy, greasy and gross when we take it down and wash the products out. This gel was so different, it washed out of the hair so well. This gel did not leave the hair crispy or looking thick, but gave it a natural shine all while holding her tiny flyaways throughout her class. I love it and highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This hair gel works well for my daughter's hair. The gel stays in for several hours. The smell is very appealing for my daughter also.

I’ve used this product for almost a decade and it gives just enough hold for my natural hair. Not too hard, doesn’t dry my hair and no flaking.

It’s a great texture, looks beautiful and smells great! Best part it works like a charm! Used this for my daughters dance competition and her hair stayed in place all day through 3 dance routines

This texture is like hair grease with hairspray. It works very well on edges or localized spots, but doesn’t spread easily across hands and is not really for fly aways. It also doesn’t hold very long. Scent is okay, but didn’t work well for helping smooth a pony tail or hold shorter pieces back.

This is my favorite hair product for braids will have your braids shining, on point and smelling great

Trust me, I am sure you will understand the struggle to find a product that will do what it says on the description when it comes to edge control? Well, this does it for me. A little bit does a great job. However I have found that it goes a bit dull/matt looking, when it dries. It's easy to solve by adding some Keracare Golssifier ( which I've used for years) or what ever hairdress product you use, over the top...perfect.

I mainly use this to add shine and minimize friziness while braiding my daughter's hair. It also allows better grip while braiding. Works quite well for the purpose I use it and prolongs her braided styles.
