I wish I would have purchased this years ago. Makes cutting nylon rope easy but need to be careful not to keep it hot for too long - it needs to cool in between cuttings. Would buy again.

Works great! I really wish I had bought this earlier, as I was cutting rope to make 200 lanyards (550 paracord). It is easy to use, cools quickly, and cuts the rope like butter.

I like this product. It cuts and cauterizes at the same time. Do not force it. Easy, constant pressure will get the job done correctly. Keep the rope taunt, but not stretched or pulled too tight. Ease off the line pressure as the knife makes its way through the rope. Slow and steady is the way to do this.

Working fine on my 3/8 in and 1/2 polydex line on an oyster farm. No frayed ends. Just go slow.

Garbage....workes for 35 days and now doesnt heat up...dont waste your money

I cut paracord, webbing, small diameter shock cord and nylon fabric. This heat gun heats in seconds and makes a very smooth cut a must for paracord and webbing. I would give 5 stars if the tip had a slight radius so it could be drawn across wider webbing and material. The flat tip gets caught. I'll be doing some filing if I cannot find a tip with a radius

1st time I tried to use it, it didn’t even cut half way through a bit of paracord. It started and then smoked and died. I went to make a return Amazon accepted after I explained what had happened. When I checked returns Amazon had made a return for the two replacement blades (which I hadn’t even mentioned to the) I ordered the replacements after having misplaced the original one that came with cutter😂😡 waited again for them and had finally got around to using it. Tried returning the cutter and this time was told the return window was closed a few days (13th of July) back! Something dodgy going on here…? In summary BUYERS BEWARE!

Sold in UAE but only 110V lasted 3minutes

I had previously given this product a one star review. The problem was that I wasn't using it correctly the first time. On the second use, I figured out that I needed to tape near the end to be cut and place it on a flat metal surface before cutting. The result was a clean cut and sealed edge at the cut area. If the seller had included this in the instruction guide, it would have saved me the poor experience I had earlier.

Poor description of product. Did not stipulate the operating voltage or number of pins on plug. Not suitable for domestic use in UK.

Rope Cutter works very well. Hot enough to cut within seconds. Definitely the tool I've needed and pleased I now have it.
