The dial that adjusts tension is a nice feature and works well. The only issue is that every time I use them they shed a small amount of black plastic flakes. This appears to be caused by friction wear on the black plastic at the handle joints where they rub together. I thought this would stop after they were "broken in" but I've used these for 6 weeks and I see no reduction in this shedding.
