SUPCASE for Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Case with S Pen Holder, Purple

This is an excellent case very sturdy and fits like a glove Which is not always the case pun intended. I do not fully understand the people that complain about this case being too large , it is for one of the largest phones on the market With a Pen holder on the side there is no physical way to make this case smaller. With that being said it does its job Very well Protecting your phone And utilizing the controls on the Side. The very small weak link as described in the title is the belt holster , the very small plastic Part that holds the phone To the holster Is too thin and has broken on me twice . And once again I understand this is a very large phone with a lot of girth and weight And I do take my phone in-and-out A lot out of the holster This is where The very excellent customer service part of the equation comes in. Just got off the phone with Mike in customer service And have a replacement coming right away. It was amazingly easy To get a live voice And have somebody that can actually do something about your issue rather than Never talking to somebody Or playing phone tag with multiple back-and-forth about photos and if you did something wrong To cause the issue And getting 5 follow up calls or text about customer service and if they actually helped you when they know d***** well they didn't So I salute Supcase and Mike. to a quick and easy solution to my issue. Hearkens me back to an earlier age When companies actually try to help and take care of your problem Okay I will quit waxing sentimental. Back to the case at hand Pun intended, Excellent case excellent customer service And if you're not going to use the belt holster No issues whatsoever nothing but excellence. So remember when you're thinking about ordering A cheaper case or an overpriced Otterbox or Otterbox wanna be In my only 1st hand experience with supcase they've been the best.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The s21Ultra Sup Case with SPen holder has been a very solid purchase. After purchasing my first beetle over 4 years ago, the case itself withstood some heavy wear over the years. Despite the daily use, the phone screen has never cracked and its been dropped quite a bit over the years. In terms of phone cases to hand size ratio, this case makes the s21ultra bigger, thi ker, and much more comfortable to hold in my big hands. In 2025, the plastic part where the power button is finally wore out, thus finally requiring a replacement. I dont mind buying another SUP case because the last one worked perfectly. The things that broke on it were the following (in order): 1. The phone stand on yhe back. Broke almost immediately. Recommend just removing the stand or not using it. 2. The bottom plastic that blocks the usb c port broke off about 2 years in. 3. Sometime during the 3rd year part of the plastic on the upper front case broke off on the bottom. Also the plastic on the back case broke in the same location arpund the usb c port. 4. The last two things broke back to back and caused me to have to replace it. The sPen holder ripped somehow. Not a big problem but then the plastic bit that lets you press the power button broke off. That was the kiss of death for the case. The only broken piece that rendered the device unusable was that power button piece. I gave it 5 out if 5 stars because its a quality product and i am buying a 2nd one. If i ever upgrade to a new phone, ill buy a sup case for it as well.

The case is thick, sturdy and made of a decent hard/soft body plastic. It's overall good for protection of the phone if it's not dropped too hard, or if it is dropped and doesn't land on the face or at an angle on the face of the phone then it's protected the phone well. However, as it does not have a true face/front of phone protector cover so it will certainly damage the screen of the phone. I had a glass privacy protector on the face of the phone and I'm glad I did, because I happened to drop the phone and it hit just right and cracked the glass privacy protector, but not the phone itself. Just know that this type of case will require additional protection for the face/front of the phone, and the camera(s) as there is no cover on the back for that part of the phone. Overall it's a good case, but could use some design enhancements to incorporate more protection. One other small thing - the entirely flimsy, thin plastic kickstand is entirely not worth it. It's broken off within two-three uses as the small plastic ends snap off very easily as the stand is difficult to slide back into place once it's locked open. Another design flaw in my opinion.

I've been looking for a case that can hold the optional S Pen for this phone and after several disappointments, bought this one. At first, I wasn't too impressed. It can feel too bulky sometimes and the S Pen can take some getting used to inserting/removing from the holder (friction held). Now I love it though. I've had a few pretty bad drops and the phone was completely undamaged. Drops with previous cases would usually result in my glass screen cover cracking. PROS -Very sturdy and great durability. -Good button alignment and stand is easy to use. -Camera lens opening is over the entire lens assembly vs each lens (makes flash useable with the case on). -S Pen is very secure. CONS -Can feel too bulky. -Stand has a tiny piece that can break off, making it unable to snap in. (Seller, if you're reading this, I will buy replacement stands) -S Pen holder takes getting used to I'll end by saying if you are NOT and S Pen user, you should probably get something else. The S Pen holder makes the case shape really awkward, especially with no pen in the holder.

The case adds about 3/16 of an inch on each side making this a beefy product, however they did a good job sliming it down so its not fat. The outer case isn't super hard, on a scale 1-10 with 10 hardest, this is like a 7 so it has some give if it does get dropped, it wont shatter and buffers the fall for protecting the phone (I think). I may put some silicone grease on the kickstand grooves to give me longer life there. It's a pretty kool designed kickstand but if it doesn't move smoother it may get hung up opening or closing it in time. It seems smooth now, but its only going to be so strong, and basically a failure point. I'll put a drop of that silicone oil on it and it should help avoid me breaking the kickstand when opening or closing. Only a day old, I'll give it 5, and if it fails I'll come back and let then the trolling begin ;-) But seriously seems like a great product for me since I have less of an appetite to risk breaking my phone since this economy is circling the drain. Holds the S-Pen in a good way, won't drop, and is relatively easy to access for my purposes.

Edit - After having this case for about 2 months the stand on the back broke. The tiny little nubs that hold it in the track broke. I removed the stand and put on a stick-on finger strap which fit right in the same groove and it works even better (the strap is more comfortable) but nevertheless have to remove 1 star from my prior review. Manufacturer should looknat the quality of the plastic for the stand. I still generally like the case primarily because i still think its the best of those that have a holder for the S-pne. So I've had the case for a little over a month now and it's met all my expectations. I primarily bought this case because there aren't that many options for cases that will also hold the S-Pen. The fit is VERY tight initially with the S-Pen. The first time I inserted it I almost thought I wouldn't be able to get it back out. But if the pen is inserted either with the Samsung logo or the button facing forward, it slides in and out a bit easier and after a month of use the fit is now smooth while still being secure but not too tight. You just have to work it in and out out some initially and use it and it'll "loosen" up enough. But like it said, the fit is still very secure. The case itself feels solid and durable. I dropped my new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra once and my heart stopped but the case protected it perfectly. I don't have a screen protector on the phone but I kind of feel like I don't need one since the front of the case is raised above the screen enough to where I feel like even if I dropped the phone screen face down, it would still be protected. The case extends above the level of the camera lenses and I feel provides good protection for the lenses since they won't touch the surface now when I lay the phone down. Likewise, it creats a flat back so the phone now lies flat instead of having the "wiggle" due to the raised camera lens "block". The stand is ok and doubles and a finger/ring holder. The only downsides: The phone is big to begin with and this case does add additional width due to the pen holder on the side. (I've occasionally used the phone in one handed mode as a result ...double cicking on the home button in the middle bottom of the screen minizes the window to where you can reach the screen elements with one hand. I don't use that often but occasionally, it's nice to be able to do so). The only other negative is the "ring holder" on the back. It's really meant as a stand for the phone but it doubles as a finger/ring holder. On the one hand, it does help you feel more secure in holding the phone (did I mention this is a big phone!) but because it's "squared off" (rectangle shape) and hard plastic, it can occasionally feel a bit uncomfortable. Despite these issues I would recommend this case over others that are designed to hold the S-Pen.

This is an update. I already gave this case 5 stars but i wish i could give it an even higher rating. This case is as sturdy as they come. I drop my phone practically on a daily basis. Cement, ice, brick, and tile. My phone doesn't have a single mark on it and the only problem with the case is that the kickstand broke off. I'm thinking about buying a new one but i'm not sure if i wanna spend the money just for the kickstand. If you have the S21 Ultra this is the only case you should buy. I've literally all of the cases that have the s pen holder. The Spigen case is okay and slimmer but i still worry about my phone with that. Plus, no kickstand. The Samsung case with the S-View is the least protective case i've ever seen in my life and not practical at all. The Supcase UB Pro is the only case to get. I'll be buying their cases from now on. In fact, my girlfriend runs her IT department at her work which puts her in charge of the phones for everyone in the company. She works at a plumbing and heating place. Some of these guys are in sewers all day long. She's gotten them all Supcases and they all love them to death. She gets complimented all the time. I just can't say enough good things about this case. The only thing i would change is the kickstand. I'm going to try email them to see if they can just send me a new kickstand but who knows what will happen. Even without the kickstand I'm still using it over the other cases i have. Trust me. Don't sleep on this case. When I say i drop my phone all the time i really mean all the time.

Update May 2023: yes, the stand on my second case broke after a few months just like the first one, but this time instead of buying another case I modified this one. I ripped out the stand, removed a couple of protrusions, and installed an elastic holder called a lovehandle. I don't have a stand, but I can use the phone with one hand again, so I think this will be my configuration until I drop it one too many times and have to replace it. Original review: This case checked most of the boxes on my wish list. Decent drop protection, an S pen holder, no integrated screen protector, interesting colors, and something on the back to help me hold it with one hand. I read several reviews complaining about the stand breaking, so I was extremely careful with it. Alas, after less than a month one of the little tabs that run in the slot in the back broke off. The tabs are very tiny and plastic, which is not a good combination for this type of application. It still works if I’m super careful, but I don’t trust it to do that for much longer. After the other tab breaks, I will probably just remove the whole stand and try to fashion some sort of loop in that pocket that I can slide one or two fingers through. It’s a shame, too, because the rest of the case is pretty nice. It’s huge, of course, because the phone is huge and there is the added width of the S pen holder. So finding a car mount was a hassle. But it has a nice texture, and it fits the phone well. I haven’t dropped it yet, but I can see it has some shock absorption capability built into the design, so I’m hopeful that it will work if needed. The hatch that covers the USB port is very stiff, which prompted me to buy a wireless charging stand for the phone … wish I had done that years ago! Some have complained that it’s tough to remove the S pen. My technique is to grab the pen on both sides where it is exposed on the side and slide it up enough to grab the top of it. Overall, it’s a nice case, one of the few available with an S pen holder. Too bad it has that one design flaw.

Really strong protection case, did not expect it to be such good quality for the price but I was positively supprised.

Looks very good. Works well. Every slot is in the right place. The case secures the original pen with a full length pull. You may lose five seconds, but you don't lose your pen from the case. Worth the money. I dont use the belt loop system.
