I can’t say I liked how my husband stacked them but they work well enough for our outdoor fire pit. They are light weight and the wind will knock them down. They weren’t expensive so I am probably picky when I say their colors are not the best nor do the markings go further than just the top side of them. They are a bit smaller than I expected too but they do what I need them to do.

For the money - these are okay. We went cheap to have a quick solution for a fireplace at a second home. They are very small - and not particularly realistic. We bought an open box - never used - and immediately discovered why they were returned. We also bought the stuff that you need to go under the logs to create a "coals" look - but even that didn't really help. The resulting fire didn't ever look like a real fire no matter how often we rearranged the logs to try and spread the flames out. I'm not sure I'd buy again. But - they might work just fine in an outdoor gas firepit. We changed over to real logs.
