The film probably spent half it's budget on making cars explode. The movie was predictable but fun. The male on male rape seen was a bit jarring, but generally, the film was formulaic. There were many car action fight sequences which were enjoyable. George Eastman acting as the main villain was a highlight, as he brought a lot of personality to his role, as he also did in Hands of Steel. Giancarlo Prete on the other hand was a bland, uninspiring, unimaginative anti-hero who added nothing to the film, as he also did in Escape from the Bronx. This film is a worthy edition to the dystopian low budget sci fi filmography. Worth a watch - ### ⭐⭐⭐ Annoying fake electric whine on the motors when they were ... *by K***2 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 9, 2015* A bit corny, BUT I knew this going in. So it follows that old genre of "wasteland" however lots of the props and cars have a brand new look and feel to them. A dusting of dirt or sand to take a lot of the shine off would have help sell this. Annoying fake electric whine on the motors when they were clearly internal combustion engines with exhaust. Same with the "laser" guns shooting cartridge ammunition. All this was trying to upsell the future aspect. Not sure if it was just me or on certain cameras and scenes but it look as if the aspect ratio was off and faces and items were narrow as if they were shot in wide angle and then forced into the 4:3 aspect ratio. It could also be the PAL to NTSC conversion as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bad movies, but good for laughs *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 19, 2015* These movies are terrible, but if you are into bad films for a laugh you might enjoy these. As for Warriors Of the Wasteland, it appears about 5 minutes were edited out, but for a movie this unbelievably bad who cares. I have an old Beta copy of Warriors of the Wastelands (that's in tape for VCR playback) that I picked on sale on the cheap (about 5 dollars) about 20 years ago that still has the retail price sticker on it - believe or not, it sold originally for $69.95 in 1985. Cosmos: War of the Planets an even worse film.
