Bought for my son and he's delighted with it! He works with electronics and frequently finds he's dropped a screw etc under his desk! So this is perfect for those situations! It comes with batteries already installed plus a spare set too. You have to pull out a small cardboard disk to make the supplied battery connection, otherwise you'll get no light! There's a powerful magnet on the base as well as the light end - I wasn't expecting that, but it's a nice feature. The goose-neck works well and the light is a good brightness. The magnet on the light works really well. The build quality feels great and it's nicely presented. I'm pleased with my purchase and can thoroughly recommend! Hope I've helped :-)

Bought this for my engineer husband. He’s thrilled with it and would like another. One to keep in his workshop and he now would like another to keep in his car. He says they are well made, of good design and he liked that it came with two sets of batteries. He does a lot of DIY in the house and repairs and maintains the family’s cars so he says that they are an ideal piece of kit for him.
