Busy
Very funny, confusing In parts because of how crazy it all was, but I really liked it. I've read out of order, so this is my first book by alina Jacobs. Will try to work out where to start at the beginning because I've got a feeling you can fall in love with all the characters

I couldn't finish reading the book
The story is all over the place and the main character is so annoying it makes my angry. She behaves like a teenager all the time and she clearly has some eating disorder. She doesn't stop eating cake and muffins. No adult, even less a billionaire, can fall in love with a character like that..not believable at all. Don't waste your time.

Too far fetched
Unfortunately I just wasn’t able to finish this story. The whole storyline was just too far fetched and the characters were annoying to say the least. The story felt like it was all the place. After several attempts I had to admit defeat and return the book unfinished.

Perfect book to curl up with!!
This fake relationship romance is the perfect book to curl up with and get absolutely lost in the pages. This story was addicting and I loved it! With Alina Jacobs you know there will be drama, angst and a great storyline before there is a HEA. Definitely worth the read and all of her other books! She’s one of my favourites. Happy reading everyone

A farce but hilarious at times.
I am a faithful reader of Alina's books but this one didn't sit well with me. I found the character of the female lead exhaustively annoying. Emotionally and socially, Tess behaved throughout the book as a 14-year-old, in fact I know young teenagers who are more mature than she was portrayed. Her compulsive cake eating for comfort and excessive need for junk food and snacks sends the wrong message today when so many young people battle obesity. It is called addiction, when we turn to alcohol and drugs to cope with problems, so turning to food can be no less damaging. I know that rom-com and romantic literature present a kind of escapism and there is a certain degree of over the top, lack of realism built into the plot but even the storyline was way beyond plausible and far too long. Home schooling has some legal requirements and obligations attached, like following a certain curriculum and subjects with regular exams. Coding and high-level business studies wouldn’t be allowed to replace history, literature, sciences and mathematics. Bringing Tess’s nemesis, her stepfather, into the plot as the brother of the commune girl’s lost mother, along with the complications that bring was another level of absurd twist. I got 67% into the book by the time the protagonists, Tess and Beck began to give in to their attraction for each other. There is an equally far-fetched HEA, which at least, brings all the commotion to a resolution. Furthermore, the English, vocabulary, writing skills, good editing, and the hot and steamy description of their connection tip the balance towards a more positive experience.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great book with lots of laughs!
A really enjoyable book with lots of humour! Tess is just a walking disaster, but it doesn’t help that her boss, Beck, is a nightmare! After getting sacked multiple times Tess ends up getting a job looking after Beck’s sisters. Tess can’t stand Beck, his attitude and arrogance is something else but she needs to pay her bills so she really has to take the job, only it gets more complicated when she has to pretend to be his fake girlfriend. The more time they spend together the more feelings start to develop however Beck made it clear, he only needs Tess’s help until he can adopt his sisters, however along the way he falls in love with Tess, only to really mess it up. With Tess gone from her life he needs to try and get her back. A really enjoyable story with so much humour in it. I loved Tess’s character, she was so much fun despite being a walking disaster. Lots of hot steamy passion and hot men, what more do you need!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
