Soundmatters BKMT-2 foxL Bike Mount Kit

I thought this item was a bit pricey, however, there weren't really any other options. I have not had any of the issues that other people reported as far as the speaker falling out of the handlebar mount and I ride my Motobecane hybrid pretty rough. The sound is excellent on the bike. I have a BOSE Soundlink that I carry around the house and it's sound is far superior, however, for a bike mounted speaker, the BKMT-2 is exceptional. I subtracted 1 star because, again, I thought that it was a bit pricey.

Works great and holds your precious stereo system like its life depends on it!Word of caution however.. I have noticed that regularly putting it in and taking it out of the bike mount kit causes paint to chip off of the device.I actually crashed (flipped my bike the other day) and my bike mount and soundmatters device survived the ordeal with flying colors. It popped the device out on impact... but it survived the weight of my bike falling on it, and protected my FoxL pretty well.

I bought this speaker as we like to take our music with us when we travel or go on holiday. But since purchasing it I have also bought the bycicle atatchment that houses the speaker so that when we go out cycling we can also have music. It's so much better than having earphones. The quality of sound from such a small speaker is unbelievable and I would consider it one of the best purchases I have ever made. It is a brilliant little device.

Well let's see, during, oh say my 7th or 8th ride with this Bike Mount Kit it just broke. I was riding and all of the sudden my $250.00 speaker was flipping down the highway and the mount was in 2 parts but not the 2 original parts, it broke off right under the little ball that gets tightened. DO NOT BUY if you care about your speaker. The company of course has a disclaimer absolving them from any potential damage to your speaker resulting from the use of their mount kit, so there is no recourse if it happens.

Very useful and very sturdy.But one con is the kit is a little bit hard, I am affraid that it could rub the shell of the speaker

Easy to install on bike, better than average instructions but they weren't really needed. The mount is very very sturdy and the unit snaps into place very securely. A bit pricey at almost half the current price of the speaker but other than price this is great.

This is the choice bike mount for FoxL in even rugged conditions. I regularly mountain bike down rugged terrain and this mount holds on like a champ.

Best portable speaker plus mount equals awesome. My only complaint is my ears hurt from the FoxL's high volume levels!
