Wireless Camera RF Detector with Built-in Flashlight

I should have listened to the other reviews. This is basically a little flashlight.I would not recommend anyone trying to use this to detect anything other than obstructions in the dark.

I bought mine at harbor freight and it didn’t work. I dared to exchange it and it actually did work the second time around but the flashlight did not. I kept it anyway to play with since I do HAM radio and this thing supposedly detects that frequency range. I found that it actually did work in that range and I tested it up to about 15ft from the radio and antenna. Then a funny thing happened. I left it in my pocket and accidentally ran it through the washing machine. I figured it was broken but I let it dry out in the sun anyway before testing it. Not only did it still work, but now the flashlight worked too!

I bought this down the highway at Harbor Freight for $6.00. Great little flashlight. But seriously. ...RF Detector? We are surrounded by rf..radio waves, tv, cellphones, wifi, and the list goes on and on. This silly thing does nothing But Blink and Beep. I spent my 6 bucks just out of curiosity cuz I like gizmos and gadgets. Worth 50 cents.

Terrible. Do not waste the money. Its horrible. It has to be within a foot or less of an RF source to blink, and the high-pitched beeping does not ever stop from the time you turn it on! I am taking mine back to Harbor Freight tomorrow. Mine was $17.00 new at HF. Glad I kept my receipt.
