The media could not be loaded. For $20.00, you can't beat this train set. I bought this for my daughter's first tree in her new apartment. It was packed well and was assembled in minutes. We received everything in working order, no broken pieces. There was slight "hot" smell from the smoke but nothing overwhelming or offensive. It's adorable and runs great. We didn't have any derailments or stalls and for such an inexpensive train set, I am very impressed. Of course, if you have an uneven floor, wide grout, or carpet, you may not have the same results. If you want something for around your tree, this is a fantastic option. I apologize for the video, it's not the greatest quality but I think you'll get the idea.

I can't believe people are complaining- for 18 bucks a train that really smokes, lights work, and great train sounds?!? It's of course a cheap plastic train and tracks but it does the job! Smoke ran out pretty quickly but haven't added more so not sure if it was filled to capacity or just a little to demonstrate.Regardless totally worth the price!!

I would give it a 5 star review if the track is not so crappy.The train is well built, and there indeed smoke comes out from the engine after several runs. Sounds realistic as well. My son loved it on Christmas. Mine comes with green blue and red color.Only complaint is the tracks. Man what a fuss to put it together , I mean it's a simple cycle track you would think it's easy right? But the track pieces are so poorly made they can barely stay together, in another word, the connection is very loose so it took me and my husband quite a bit time to finally lay it flat around the tree. And the material is very cheap plastic as well.They really should make better track to match with the train.

Great price and great product

The train and tracks made from low-quality materials were easy to assemble. We bought this train to go around our Christmas village. What we did not like was the terrible smell of the smoke. Thought the smoke would be water vapor but it was a burning plastic / toxic chemical smell. You do not want that smell in your house or anywhere near you. It did not come with instructions either. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. Do not buy!!

I fully understood that this was not going to be a well made train set, you can't beat the price but it is that price for a very good reason. My nephew loved it initially. It looks cool and comes with the smoke fluid already in it (that was a fun surprise). My nephew is train obsessed. One of his grandfathers has a huge super cool train layout that fills his entire basement. I got him a expensive train for around the Christmas tree and he comes in contact with a lot of very well made trains that he can't do whatever he wants with because they're expensive. So part of why I bought this cheap train was so he could push it as hard as he wanted however he wanted, no big deal it was under $20. I expected it was going to break but I was hoping it was going to last more than a couple hours. The main problem was the wheels come off super easily. They are attached with the tiniest thinest weakest plastic joints. This train could be soooo much more amazing if they made adjustments to the wheel attachments. Both the connecting train cars wheels had broke within 2 to 3 hours max. The front car lasted a few days but the wheels kept coming off. All in all I'm happy with my purchase because I already knew it was going to be a cheap train. It's disappointing that this train could be an amazing train at an amazing buy if some simple easy to fix adjustments were made with the wheels. I'm sure they could easily cover the costs of the adjustments & charge $5 to $10 more and make this an amazing affordable train (probably $5 really)

The train was dropped once from about 3 feet up and the engine section completely broke apart. Front shattered, little screw components broken, no way to glue it together even and it was a mess of wires. Very brittle plastic.The tracks are easy to pop together, but come apart so easily it is frustrating for a kid.The power of the engine was good,while it lasted and it did roll over carpet for a short while.I wish it had lasted longer than 2 days....
