I'm a size large. I ordered up a size and glad I did. They are stretchy, fits great, feels very comfortable when moving around. If you are a large you can order a large. It will fit just as well in my opinion, fit curves very well, due to how the XL fits.

First pair Xl was more like XXL...I returned and Amazon refunded me with credit. I repurchased and got a L. The pants are badly made. The rips on pants are cute but the pants are made for really thick women and come up all the way to my ribs and I'm 5'9. It does not shape you well. I feel like it's not worth the money.

The jeans are so awesome they fit in the leg but if you have A little tummy or anything like that. They're not going to fit right with your regular size so just size up a little bit. But apart from that, I love the jeans. They are so stylish.

There are no words to describe how much I like these jeans but they are too big. I am 4'10" and 95#. Perhaps they will make an XS or even an XXS one day.

These fit me really awkward and my body type is tall and slim. I seen in other reviews where they were a tall girl friendly for some but for me they stopped right at the ankle were slightly baggy on the legs. And just looked awkward but if my frame was a little more curvy. I think it would have had a more appealing look, but for reference I am between 5'9 -5'10 178 lbs. Decent quality material though!
