What is the warranty? Purchased this battery 8 months ago and it will no longer recharge.

I purchased this battery - 21.6V, 5000mAh - for a Dyson V8 cordless vacuum. It replaced the original battery. On the under side of the battery it states several conditions that would void the battery, but it does not say how long the warranty actually lasts. My recollection was the the battery warranty was for 1 year but I am not absolutely certain of that.

Will this fit an SV10?

It says: Compatible with 967834-05 SV10 V8 Absolute V8 Animal V8 Motorhead V8 Fluffy V8 Carbon Fiber Cord-Free Handheld Vacuum.

Can someone send me the directions or explain how to replace the battery?

Should i let the battery completely run down before recharging?

Li-ion batteries are most efficiently charged via partial charging... in other words, do not let them run completely 100% down or get fully 100% charged. If this is a Dyson vacuum cleaner battery most likely the Dyson charging system will properly charge the battery. But when you are using it try not to run the battery completely down before recharging.
