Purchased for a remote. The best by date is 2037. My past experience with Energizer has been they last longer than other brands. Says it has a 3 in 1 child shield. 1 is child and adult resistant packaging. The other 2 are a non toxic bitter taste and a blue dye that appears in seconds if placed in the mouth. 2 batteries for a little more than 3 bucks is very good.

Pretty much what you would expect - it's a button battery. They work as described and the expiration date on my package shows it is good through 2032. The main problem with these is getting the batteries out of the package. You basically have to destroy the package to get to the battery, and even then they are encased inside another plastic shell. I realize they are trying to make these safe so kids don't swallow them, but the extremes they go to are ridiculous! If you have a multi pack, you end up with a bunch of loose batteries and no way to tell when they expire as the package is trashed just getting them out! If you're elderly, forget it - you'll end up with batteries you can't use because you can't get them out of the package! The batteries themselves are 5 star, but the packaging is more a 1 or 2 star rating for difficulty. IMO they should make packaging specific for who is buying them. Parents can choose the impossible to open packaging, and everyone else can choose packaging that is easier to open.

Appreciated the safety packaging. Longevity is unknown as with any low use battery.

By far the absolute best batteries out there. They last must longer than the Chinese batteries that come pre-installed in devices these days. I used these to replace a shady battery in my led light remote control after it started working intermittently and voilá, back in business.
